I was very surprised how well this works! The device is easy to use. I follow the instructions provided both in the product listing and the booklet that came with (the only notable difference between the two is the listing tells you not to use the device in sensitive areas but the booklet still says you can). I'm very inconsistent in the use of the device, yet still see amazing reduction in hair growth. I've mostly used this only on my lower legs, where my hair is thickest and darkest. There's only a couple spots here and there that I need to get to. This helps me cut down on razor use and costs. I'm starting on my thighs--thinner, lighter hair--and hope to get similar results. The built-in cooling effect helps to keep the device from burning your skin. When I finish with one leg or start to feel the heat, I just turn the device off for a few minutes before resuming. I find doing this keeps the device at a comfortable level throughout. I've been using the device for several months now and have not noticed any ill effects. Given the lower wattage than would be found at the super expensive hair removal services, the risks are theoretically lower. For those of us taking the dive into hair removal, this device does the trick for a tiny fraction of the cost.

So far I’m liking this product for hair removal. It’s easy to use and the directions are easy to follow. I see people have commented on the skin rejuvenation” and “acne scarring” modes. Mine states it has these modes and I see the button for them but my manual gives no instructions of how often to use the device for these and doesn’t explain what type of skin rejuvenation it does. Seems kinda broad to say skin rejuvenation.

I wish I had before pictures of my hair but when I started I didn’t think this was gonna work honestly. I have such terribly sensitive skin. Shaving has always been painful and left me with ingrowns everywhere and when the hair would grow back in it was painful and itchy. It was a really big insecurity of mine that I couldn’t just shave like other women. My hair is super dark and thick. After even 2 weeks I started to notice less hair growth. I’ve been using it now for 5 weeks and I would say it’s taken off 85% of my hair. Typically my leg hair would grow back in by the next day like a stubble feeling and a week later full growth back. Now I only have hairs here and there that are much finer after a week. This changed my life and I’m still blown away this works after trying so many things. My skin is finally smooth, no irritation and I don’t have to feel insecure and put myself through pain just trying to wear shorts.

I've used this device three times and haven't seen any results. I need to return it within a month, and I don't know if it will work in two months, so I'll return it. Perhaps the seller intentionally made the return period so long that it wouldn't be clear whether it was working, but I'm not taking any chances. The only positive thing I'll note is that the box is very nicely made and the device looks good. And it really does work. It's not painful. The downsides include a lack of effectiveness and a very large, awkward head for hair removal. You never know where you've removed hair and where you haven't, as the frame around the laser is so large. There's no facial attachment. The cord also complicates the process. If you can't get this device to work on a battery, make the cord at least twice as long.

Considering that this is an Advent calendar, this was absolutely irrelevant. I tried to cancel this order several times. However, it appeared in my cart again and again. Now I am trying to return it back and it is impossible to cancel its replacement. I will already file a complaint against the seller. Who needs an Advent calendar after Christmas???
So. Firstly let just say that I was very excited about this product. Until it arrived. There are pictures on the back of the box explaining what skin and hair types cannot use this product…. Ump g the skin types is a deep black. Yup! A true black. Not like “black skin” but completely black! This is horribly racist. Secondly, one cannot use this on blond hair? So …. Peach fuzz is blonde. ALL PEACH FUZZ. Even (yes I am going to say it) on black people! Furthermore, it cautions against using this device on boney areas (it uses feet and hands as an example)….. so in other words, if you plan to use this on your face… it will BURN YOU! Under arms? It suggests pulling your skin tight????? This whole thing feels quite dangerous, not to mention, the fact that their advertising is highly racist. I am returning this product.

Used this on my face. Works really well, no skin irritation. I just need to be a bit more consistent in using it. Otherwise, this actually is a nice alternative to plucking or whatever other forms of shaving you do. Survived a toddler attack so it’s decently durable and it’s relatively easy to use. You might need welding goggles though, it’s stupidly bright, the glasses they come with is no where near dark enough to shield your eyeballs.
