Before buying this I would say my recent schedule is shaving once a month. I still get ingrown hairs the entire time, but not with the searing pain of shaved legs that feel as if they've been cut by jagged glass. Not shaving at all isn't much different, as hairs shed and regrow I still have this issue with infections from hairs that can't break the top layer of my skin. When I do shave I go through at least 7 disposable shave heads (between how fast they dull and trying to reduce the infection spreading) and it takes well over an hour to do the whole thing. I was scared to try this because of how many infections and sores I deal with regularly. I spent an hour plus shaving a months worth of hair off, and before applying tend skin I went to work with IPL (per instruction), I used this product. It wasn't that hard to get the hang of tbh, keeping it flat and also not pressing into the skin really helps. Throughout the whole thing it didn't hurt in the slightest, but I had one tiny birthmark that it stung a little (not the beauty marks tho so that's weird), and I avoided my ankle tattoo altogether. I'm not sure why, but my skin felt better after the treatment than it does applying tend skin (aftershave). It felt relaxed and unirratated for once. I mean, when I shaved my legs they had that "jagged glass was here" feel, but after using the IPL, it didn't have that. In fact, I had to remind myself to not get careless and I should use tend skin for the long term effects, it gave me a false sense of comfort. I've been using this for well over a month now with beyond amazing results. Before shaving would take an hour plus and at least 7 shaver heads. Now it takes less than 20 minutes and 2 heads. I can complete the entire IPL process in less amount of time than I spent just shaving alone a year ago. I want to stress something. There has been one time in the last 10 years that I shaved within a week, and it caused so much pain and I have pictures showing how badly it hurt (the worst ever). Since I started IPL - I have b 婉ᰔᩚ: een shaving once a week and have had the best results on my legs *ever*. I still get sores occasionally but not nearly in comparison. It is crazy to me how slowly, or not at all, the hairs have grown in since I started this. My bikini line is nearly non-existant. I'm not even on week 12, I'm on week 6 maybe? I have never once in my life had "smooth skin". It's always been tacky stubble, even after a fresh shave. Not now. I have --- days later --- skin completely devoid of hair and soft and smooth. It's honestly the first time ever for me. Seriously at 40, this is the first time for me. Even if this treatment didn't permanently remove hair, that doesn't matter that much to me. What it has done for me thus far is literally LIFE CHANGING - and I don't use that term ever. I could use this once a week while shaving my legs and even if it never stops hair from growing in it permanently, what it does inhibit would be an improvement for me - but thankfully it does deliver on stopping hair growth as well.

I have used other IPL hair removal devices before, but I think this is the most advanced one. It is extremely powerful and can reach 7J/cm². There are also 6 levels of adjustment, the "ice-cooling" system is very strong, it is surprisingly cooling, and no need to worry about it being too cold. It provides three levels of "ICE" Cooling, you can adjust the intensity of cooling according to your needs. It has a "power mode", which is stronger than the 6-level standard power of the normal mode. It is a good choice for those who expect a more effective way of hair removal. The LED display is very cool, the sliding screen is very sensitive, it can track the times you used the application in various body parts, and they (JOVS) claims that this device supply un-limited flashes, which can be used all the time. It has manual and automatic flashes modes. Press and hold the "JOVS" button for 2 seconds to switch the manual mode to the automatic mode. It is way more convenient to use the automatic mode to do the hair removal. In addition to hair removal, it has skin rejuvenation and iontophoresis, I bought it for my wife as a gift. She likes it so much!

This is a game changer. I was so sick of shaving and wanted to get whatever was the best IPL I could find on the market. I figured it’d still be cheaper than going to a professional so price wasn't the biggest factor for me. I have really thick hair and wanted results fast… and within literally 4 sessions it already stopped growing in many places, completely. I used to get ingrown hairs on my bikini line… NOT ANYMORE!! I don’t even have hair on my bikini line now. It’s like a miracle I swear. It does take a long time to do my full body, as I like to make sure I don’t miss any spots, but apparently it’s way faster than other, more popular, cheaper, and smaller IPLs. I have already used over 16000 flashes at the highest setting and it shows no signs of slowing down. I just put on a shoe to binge and zone out while I do it. It’s kind of nice, actually. I’ve recommended this specific model to my friends and will continue to do so. Also, this is completely painless. Whatever magic they’re using in the cold setting actually works.

I used to have brown haie removal anr it was awesome. Decided to try this...used it for 3 month every other day...then took a little break and noticed hair are growing back colorless for a while then everything was back to normal and even thicker....it had a reverse effect...so not sure if i liked it and should've stayed with brown brand

It actually works! I bought the ipl hair removal device last month and actually came back to leave this review recommending it! I use it 2 times a week. I saw results right away and hair growth has seriously slowed. I will stick with it. It also features skin rejuvenation and iontophoresis. Cooling is very strong, no pain at all. My wife likes it very much.Very happy with this purchase and while it's expensive, it's way more convenient and cost effective than professional treatment packages.

Honestly, it isn’t as effective as other machines of the same kind on the market. The cooling system doesn’t last through a single continuous-use session. I didn’t notice any significant change in hair growth, and it’s easier to burn your skin and get irritation since the cooling mechanism doesn't work as described. Given the price and after using it for over 6 months, I wouldn’t recommend this machine. It’s overpriced for the results.
