I have medium brown skin and dark hair(African American woman), I’m the targeted demographic but unfortunately this product doesn’t work. I shaved my chin area as instructed and now my hair is thicker and growing quicker than when I usually pluck, so disappointing and upsetting, doesn’t work, I have more hair than before I started. I feel like this product makes things worse for you and you will eventually have to go to a professional which will cost more because this product doesn’t decrease the hair visibility or growth, it’s being increase by the shaving to ‘clean” the area for a machine that doesn’t work. Don’t buy this waste of money go to a professional. Also I love been getting headaches after using it so that’s very concerning because I instantly think of what’s this effect on a person in the long run. STAY AWAY! ... show more

I had a hair removal device before, and it worked and was ok but after getting this one, I realized how much time I spent with my older device. This device heats up quickly and is SO fast between light pulses and makes getting a large section done much quicker and I've seen the most improvement on my legs and will continue to use it to keep the hair growth minimal! I bought this laser removal product because I was tired of constantly shaving my lip area and under my chin every other day. I was a bit shocked at the price, but I read the reviews that stated this product is the best one for people with darker skin tones. I love the fact that this product has three heat intensity levels which allowed me to slowly progress to the highest level, which is the third level. The directions were pretty simple and the product is very easy to use. I’ve been using this product for a couple of months now and I’ve had to use it sparingly maybe every one to two weeks. Now, this may seem odd because it’s considered a laser hair removal product, but actually what it does is reduce how much hair comes back after you shave it off. I probably would get better results if I actually went to a laser hair removal facility, and have it professionally removed. But then again your hair will grow back but not as thick and not as fast. I plan to continue using this product every now and then but I’m not sure I can say that it was worth the money that I spent. ... show more

The result was not as fast as I would have liked or thought but it could also be by skin and hair type also, just a little more difficult than some. Concerned that I would run out of time to get a return before I could give it a fair and honest trial, I contacted the company and they were quick at responding and addressing my concerns and very, very kind about it. They assured me that I had plenty of time to test it and if I wasn't happy with the results they would take care of me. Now, after six weeks of use I am seeing a little progress, hair has slowed down quite a bit. I think with some people like me with lots of thick and dark hair it takes more treatments for a longer period of time. So, I will keep at it and see what happens, but the company has great customer service and stands behind their product and if the product doesn't work than they will refund it ... show more

I strongly advise against purchasing this product! It was a complete waste of $500. The product simply does not work. It claims to deliver results in six weeks, so I used it every other day for that duration but saw no improvement whatsoever. However, the return window is only four weeks, which seems deliberately designed to prevent dissatisfied customers from getting their money back! ... show more
