  • So amazing and pay free So amazing and pay free
I have to start this by saying that I am really pleasantly surprised about how effective this product is at removing unwanted hair. I have undergone laser therapy and waxing and shaving and just about any option with products like Nair and all of that has come to an end. It has to be honest that it is not a single treatment but over several weeks it starts off with approximately every two days of treating the area that you do not want to have hair and then after about six weeks, it shifts to twice a week or less more like once a week and with touchups in between when you start to see more growth again. But don’t let that dissuade you because the time that I was now going on, I haven’t shaved my legs in weeks and my arms look great my Under arms look great just about everywhere. I’ve treated as either thin out completely or has stopped growing altogether. For the places that have to continue to grow so far shaving is much more comfortable and doesn’t leave nearly as many Razorbumps as it used to. Some people have complained of discomfort, but honestly, even with the settings the way they are I have rarely even been able to feel anything happening and even when I do it’s pretty mild. I really can’t say that I’m super tough but on a scale one to 10 it has ever been more than a two that I feel. So once again, I am totally blown away at how effective this was and how great is made everything look and really boosted my confidence and personal well-being by all means if you’re even considering it and you’re gotten tired of all the other options, this is definitely the one to use. This thing is amazing. And product review I would say the noise level is a little bit above what most people might think but it’s not just like hearing a jet engine. The product seems pretty durable as I’ve used it for three months and have no issue while it is cool when it’s being used against your skin there is heat coming off of It and if you use it nonstop for a period of time, it will automatically shut off I assume because it gets too warm but waiting an hour will let you use it again to finish up what you didn’t get done it really is pain-free. Very easy to use very easy to understand how it works and like I said it’s just amazing and effective. ... show more

  • Finally, an at home solution that really works Finally, an at home solution that really works
Edit: It'll be a year next month and this is some of the best money I've ever spent. I am so much more comfortable in my body now, not having to worry about shaving all the time. There is some maintenance involved but it's minimal. Much easier than shaving all the time. The hair that does grow back is much finer and softer. And it grows at a much slower rate. The product is functioning just as well as it did day one, I've had no issues at all. Original post: I’ll break this up into two parts, a short review for the TLDR folks, and a longer review for those who are on the fence about spending hard earned dollars and need more information. From a self-proclaimed female Sasquatch who has been extremely bothered by hair (thick and fast growing) in places that women aren’t supposed to have hair all my life (and I'm half a century old), this has worked for me. I received this device on January 14th, and I’m writing this on March 14. Does it hurt? Mostly, no. Occasionally on the highest setting, I would feel a sensation like a hot rubber band BRIEFLY being snapped against my skin. It subsides before you can even say ouch, it's that quick. That’s the short review for people who appreciate conciseness. For the overthinkers, infinite researchers, or more detail-oriented people (hello my tribe), keep reading. It’s long but if you’re truly my tribe, you’ll probably appreciate it. I love this product. Shaving has always been a chore that required advanced planning and extra-long showers. If I shaved my mustache or my chest, I would have a five o’clock shadow by days end. Wearing a low-cut top was anxiety inducing. Crop tops? Not with my happy trail AND that small patch of hair on my lower back. I don't like putting this all out there but I want you to understand exactly where I’m coming from. Here are some suggestions that worked FOR ME to see the amazing results that I’ve seen so far. 1. Read the instructions. ALL OF THEM. The instructions were written by the people who created the device. Who better to help you get the best results than the people who created the device? And, there may be something in them that is specific to your situation, allowing you to return the device within the return window. 2. This device DOES NOT treat white, gray, blonde, or red hair. No laser or electrolysis can treat these hairs, and anyone who tells you differently is lying. The laser has to be able to “see” the hair to treat the follicle. On that same note, this is why it’s important to SHAVE. If the hair is too long, all you’ll do is burn the hair which doesn’t work. 3. For my pluckers, YOU CAN’T PLUCK while using this device, you must SHAVE. There HAS to be a hair in the follicle for the device to treat. I get it, I’m a plucker. I’m a mother plucker, and have been all my life. Resist the temptation. If you must pluck, pluck the white, blonde, and/or gray hair to satisfy the need (refer back to item 2). 4. Ladies, invest in one of those battery-operated shavers to shave your upper lip and chin. Please don’t use a razor on that sensitive skin, it will only cause problems with this process. 5. A message for my brown brothers and sisters. If you’re on the lighter side like myself (refer to my pics), before you lay out your coins, confirm the return policy. If Amazon’s return policy isn’t acceptable to you, try the manufacturer’s website. Be sure you can get your money back if this doesn’t work for you. For those who are truly darker, I implore you to keep saving your nickels and consult with a professional who has a lot of experience using a YAG laser. And if the consultation isn’t free, look elsewhere. Do not damage your beautiful skin by trying this type of at home solution. Tips to make the process easier: 1. You MUST be committed. If you lack time, patience, or both, save your money. This ain’t for you. 2. Consistency and organization are key. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. I get it, you want to be hair free NOW. But if you try to do your whole body in a day, you will lose motivation and want to quit. Start with a SMALL test area on the LOWEST setting (you know, like the instructions say) and wait a few days to see if you have a reaction. 3. I started by shaving one area of my body then treating it directly after shaving in the shower (literally 15 minutes or less). When I started my legs, I shaved my right leg from the knee up and treated it with the device every other day. I would only work on that part of my leg (every other day) until I was satisfied with the results. When I was happy, I moved on to the lower half of my right leg. 4. Use the calendar on your phone to stay organized. Make note of which areas of your body you treated that day. This will also help you track your results. 5. Your hair grows in cycles. You may see results in an area, and then another hair cycle will start to grow. This doesn’t mean it’s not working. You HAVE to be consistent. For the best results, treat this like a second job. 6. You are traumatizing your skin so act accordingly. Don’t start out on the highest setting because you think it means faster results. Body washes, soaps, and moisturizers with lots of perfumes and chemicals could cause you to break out or experience rashes. Same goes for going out in the sun. Cover up and use some SPF. I used a salt scrub in the shower on my legs the day after spot treating the lower half of my leg, and almost immediately my skin started reacting with little red bumps. I put aloe gel on it and the rash was gone within minutes. Which by the way I recommend, using aloe gel on your skin after every treatment. I bought a cheap brand with cooling properties in it for about $1 in the sun tan section of my local box store. 7. Just a warning, based on my research trying to find actual users with real results (I will research something to DEATH before buying something high dollar), if you have herpes (oral or genital), the trauma from this device could potentially cause outbreaks. I’m keeping it 100% real in this review. A cautionary tale, or what NOT to do: I saw results quickly on my forearms, but one day I noticed a few missed spots (or another growth cycle). I’m going to refer to the intensity settings as low, medium, high, and super. Instead of using the lowest setting (which worked well), I decided to use the super setting. I broke out in a rash, which escalated to hives. Remember when I said you are TRAUMATIZING your skin? Act accordingly. I saw fast results the first few times on the lowest setting, there was no need to dial it up. Lesson learned. My results: I thought my legs would take the longest to react, but surprisingly the results were quick. PRO TIP: I bought a white eyeliner pencil and drew vertical “swim lanes” on my legs to make sure I didn’t miss any spots. For those with darker skin on your inner thighs (thick thighs save lives, IYKYK) or bikini area, there may not be enough of a contrast for the laser to zap the hair in those areas. I’m satisfied with my “happy trail,” those results were quick. For transparency, I had electrolysis on my chest years ago, and I was about 95% happy with the results (I couldn’t afford to keep going back for maintenance), so it was easy to treat the remaining 5% of growth. My underarms are a work in progress, but I see a difference. They never bothered me, but I want my money’s worth. As for my upper lip, and a few strays just under my lower lip, I saw a difference almost immediately on the low setting. I’m getting a few sporadic hairs at this point so it won’t be long. My chin is about 90% complete, but I swear there are a handful of follicles that REFUSE to die. I’m so tempted to just pluck them! But I’m consistent and keep at it every other day. Overall, if this device quit on me today, I’d say it was worth the money. I’m happy with my results so far. And I'm not sure if it will show up or not but to be clear, I am an Amazon Vine member, however I did NOT get this device through Vine. I am a real customer, I paid full price, with my own money, and I am not a social media "influencer." ... show more

  • Amazing Results with Ulike – 2 Years of Smooth Skin!
My husband and I have been using the Ulike device for about two years now, and we’ve had a very positive experience. With consistent use, we’ve both seen a noticeable reduction in hair growth, and the hair that does grow back is much finer. It’s easy to use, comfortable, and very convenient to have at home. What really stands out is how effective it has been over time—it’s not just a short-term result. Overall, we’re really happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable at-home hair removal solution. ... show more

  • BEST HAIR REMOVAL/IPL DEVICE ❤️ BEST HAIR REMOVAL/IPL DEVICE ❤️
I've been using the Ulike Air 3 for a couple of years and just had to upgrade and get the new Ulike Air 10, and as expected, I'm genuinely impressed with the results. I was a little skeptical at first because I've tried other hair removal methods that were either painful, time-consuming, or only provided short-term results. Both the Ulike Air 3 and 10 have completely changed my routine. One of the things I love most is how comfortable the treatments are. The cooling technology makes a huge difference, and I barely feel any discomfort during sessions. The device is also lightweight, easy to hold, and simple to use, even for someone who had never tried IPL before. After just a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed significantly slower hair growth and smoother skin. Areas that used to require frequent shaving now stay smooth much longer, which has saved me a lot of time. I've also experienced fewer to almost no ingrown hairs and NO skin irritation compared to other hair removal methods. Another plus is how fast the treatments are. I can complete my routine in just a few minutes, making it easy to stay consistent. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Ulike Air 10 and feel it has been well worth the investment. If you're looking for an effective, convenient, and comfortable at-home hair removal solution, I highly recommend giving it a try. Pros: Comfortable cooling technology Noticeable reduction in hair growth Quick and easy treatments Helps reduce ingrown hairs User-friendly design Cons: Requires consistency to see the best results Initial cost is higher than traditional razors, but really worth it Rating: 5/5 ⭐ ... show more

  • Helpful for hair removal and for lightening KP redness!
I rarely ever write reviews but I have been using the air 10 for about a year now so I think it's a good time for it since I have been using it for a bit and had the time to test it. I initially got it to try and reduce the redness on my arms that was due to Keratosis pilaris as I had tried everything that I could think of to try and get rid of it I had tried every exfoliant and every moisturizer possible but nothing worked to get rid of the redness. So from my research it said that IPL was a great way to reduce KP so I thought why not. The ulike definitely has some cons but I think the pros definitely out weigh the cons for sure Pros: it's super easy to use and has 3 different modes, the SHR modes give the strongest zap and therefore the best results. It also has a high setting and a fast setting if you are in a pinch for time. You don't have to press the button every time on the fast setting you just have to hold it for 2 seconds and put it against your skin and go.I use the SHR first and then go over again using the fast setting just to make sure I get everything. The ice cooling makes it to where I don't feel anything even when using the SHR mode so it's really comfortable to use. It definitely works and I have seen results, my hair dosnt come in nearly as thick or as dark on my legs and it has definitely lightened my kp redness on my arms and it's nearly gone on my legs (I have been using it on my legs for a longer amount of time so I think after a few more months my arms will be a lot lighter) Cons: you have to use it religiously in order for it to work well. It's recommended to use it every 2 to 3 days especially for the first month and then you can scale it back to every week. You have to shave every single time you use the device in order for it to penetrate the hair follicle so if you are like me and you hate shaving it will definitely be hard to get in a routine to do it. I recently bought a chargeable electric razor on here and it has definitely been helpful to keep on the routine because I don't have to shave in the shower and I don't get nicks everytime I shave anymore so think about getting one of those if you are like me. Another con that is kind of annoying is that the device can overheat when used too long and it will shut off on its own and you have to wait a few minutes to cool down in order to use it again. It's not a deal breaker for me but definitely annoying since you have to pause in between use. Another con which some people might have a problem with is that it is pretty expensive so some people might not have to money to spend 400 dollars on a hair removal product. I will say that I got a discount code from one of the influencers I watch on YouTube so I got about 200 dollars off with that code so just look on social media and you might find something similar! All in all I think this is a good device if you have the expenses to buy this product and if you are looking to remove hair or if you are like me and trying to reduce redness from KP you just have to keep up the routine in order to get the best results. ... show more

  • Excellent Product. Excellent Customer Support.
I'm writing this review one year after buying my Ulike Air 10 device. Firstly, I'll say the product does what it says it will. I was hoping for at least a reduction in hair thickness and possibly slower growth. I thought that complete hair removal was probably not realistic for consumer grade device I'm happy to say that the areas I treated over the past year with this laser are nearly hairless now! At this point the hair in the treated areas grows so slowly and is so fine, if it grows at all, that even if I never treated those hairs with the laser again, I'd be happy. I was so pleased with the results of this device on the areas of my body that I initially bought it to treat, that I expanded to treat other areas (i.e. arm pits), because why not? The device is painless for the most part. If you're zapping an area that is extra sensitive (i.e. bikini area), the pain, at most is like a rubber-band snap. Or you can always dial back the intensity of the laser until you get a level that is painless. I usually went full intensity, except for the occasional areas that I needed to dial it from "super high" down to "high". The cooling feature on this device also works very well and makes zapping the hair very comfortable on the skin. I had laser hair removal at a salon for $150 per treatment years ago. I wish this device had existed then. It would have saved me hundreds of dollars. My Ulike Air 10 worked fantastically for most of the year I had it, but then started to have an issue where it would work for about 3-5 min like normal and then the laser would stop flashing. Ulike offers a 2 year warranty, and since I was within the warranty period, I reached out to customer service about my issue. They were AMAZING! They responded to my email within 24 hours. I explained my issue. They asked for a short video demonstrating the problem. When I submitted the video, THAT DAY they shipped a new device to me and emailed me a return label to send back the unit that was dying. Literally, the new device arrived the same day I sent back the old one, and this was 48 hours after I submitted my video of the problematic unit. I don't think I have every had any company respond so swiftly and resolve my issue so completely. The Ulike has been an invaluable tool in my beauty arsenal. Even though I had a unit that started to have problems after a year, it worked fantastically before it started to have a problem and the company resolved my issue completely with their generous warranty and excellent customer service. I looked at several models of at home hair removal devices before I decided to buy the Ulike. I'm so happy I chose this one. It was money well spend on a product that works well, made by a company with outstanding customer service. I'm very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Amazing Results!
I have struggled with thick, painful hair removal my entire life. I cannot shave without bleeding from my pores, and even professional laser treatments at a spa did not work for me after over a year. I have tried almost everything including depilatory creams, different types of razors, epilating, and waxing. Waxing worked the longest, but the in-between regrowth period was still frustrating. After all of that, I decided to try this at-home IPL device. I have been using it for about four months, though not as consistently as I should, and I already see a huge reduction in hair growth. There are visible patches where the hair simply does not grow back anymore. I also want to mention that the process is essentially pain-free. At most, I occasionally feel a small pinch like a rubber band snap against the skin, but it is not consistent or painful overall, except maybe in more sensitive areas. It also goes fairly quickly. Doing my full body including legs, arms, butt, and private areas takes about an hour and a half, maybe up to two hours if I am being more careful and not skipping spots. I think if you break it up into smaller sessions throughout the week, it could take even less time per session. I cannot fully speak on long-term smoothness yet, because it depends on how fast hair cycles complete. What I can say is that hair grows back slower or not at all in treated areas, and in some spots it is simply gone. It does take time for the treated hair to fall out, so I recommend exfoliating. I am also planning to let everything grow back for a couple of weeks, identify missed areas, and then wax what is left to help remove any remaining hairs that have not shed yet. In terms of settings, I did use the highest level (SHR mode) because I am impatient, but I would not recommend that for everyone. If you have sensitive skin or any skin concerns, it is better to start lower and test first. So far, I have not experienced redness or irritation. Overall, the device seems to be working consistently, and I have not noticed any drop in effectiveness or durability so far. ... show more

  • Good but Not Perfect Good but Not Perfect
Updated: I am a woman and used this on areas with light skin and dark coarse hair. It lost 1/2 star for how well it removed hair and 1/2 star bc it sarted overheating easily. Pics are before/after using the device 23 out of 28 days, making 2 passes per treatment, on SHR mode. No bikini like pics lol. I did use an at home device 5 years ago, so my starting hair was reduced. Third pic is skin tone w/ tan line to show skin color and explain using the device on a slightly darker skin tone. Pros: -95% painless on my lighter skin tone, even in SHR mode -Very quick (could do both armpits in 5 minutes) -Glide mode is amazing -Cooling tech is a GAME CHANGER -Could do multiple passes per treatment and multiple treatments per day (morning/night) Cons: -The stubborn hair left after my previous device was largely unaffected -The device is pretty bulky if you're trying to do the Brazilian area -Zapping stubble when you didn't get a quite close enough shave HURTS (Brazilian issue) -I have some freckle/moles (like in the pic) and they hurt when zapped, some even developed a dark/black spot on them, which went away in about a week -Even with all the new tech, I don't believe the efficacy has improved much from devices 10 years ago Additional Considerations: - It goes without saying but you have to actually use the device for it to work. -This worked best on armpit hair (outside of the 1"x2" center), the mound of hair above the Brazilian area, and very well on stray breast hairs. -It struggles on center of armpit where the skin creases when your arms are down (deeper rooted hair maybe?) and deeper Brazilian hair. -You HAVE TO shave every time before you use it. So if you shave everyday and hate it, nbd, but if you rarely shave because you hate shaving it's a lot to adjust to. - I used this in March, and had a slight tan from a vacation in early Feb, my legs and arms were more sensitive to the treatment with their slightly darker skin tone (see pic), IMO this is a winter activity if you want to do full body. - Get some good razers, and be prepared to go through them. - Brazilian area was more sensitive during my period - Shaving Brazilian area 2-3x a week was an adjustment for me and resulted in some ingrowns and razer burn which HURT when I zapped them. - Shaving Brazilian area well enough to not have any stubble took time, physical flexibility, and shaving by feel. Worst part IMO I previously used a device I bought in about 2016 which is why I started with less armpit hair. The Ulike 10 is MUCH more comfortable to use, the cooling tech makes it virtually painless. However, I'm not sure it was that much more powerful than the older tech. As you can see I do have less hair in the after picture, but only about a 30% reduction (I counted hairs in the pics and went from about 92 to 66) and I used this almost everyday for 28 days. I stopped using my old device because I wasn't seeing as much hair loss after the first 6 months, and it was fairly painful. This device doesn't hurt at all if you shave correctly, so I plan on just continuing for a few months everyday to see if I could just knock them out with repeated use. Previously I would have hairs fall out after use (5 days later or so), this was always an indicator that it was working. Since you can use this device everyday that isn't as notice able bc you're shaving so frequently, the hairs are so little if/when they fall out. Overheating of my Ulike 10: I was working on my legs when the device over heated and stopped working, I had been using it on high mode for about 10 minutes. I let it cool and when I tried again an hour later it wouldn't flash anymore. I started a return but the next day it was working again, so I kept it and will see if I end up returning through ULike CS in the next couple months. It still overheats faster than it should but I'm mostly doing armpits and Brazilian so it's not usually getting used for more than 10 min straight. ... show more
