Best Home wireless router!!!
Honestly the best home wireless router I've ever used. Super customizable small sleek. Consistent speed at a reasonable price for the hardware. Worth every cent easy setup includes everything you need right out of the box.

Best Gateway to start a homelab
I always loved UniFi equipment. And no better way to start my home lab with this gateway. For the price, you cant beat it. You can create VLANS, VPN, simple but advanced firewall rules, add blocking, etc. You can also add unifi access points to create a mesh network with practically no setup required, which I did. The overall UI is easy to read but still very informative. One thing to keep in mind is that this device only has two ethernet port on it, so you will need a ethernet switch if you want to connect more wired devices. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade their network to a whole other level. ... show more

Good router/wifi for a home
I purchased this after conducting some research. The gateway is perfect. I have set up a couple of SSIDs and hosted a server at home. Port forwarding works fine, and the policies are also well-implemented. The user interface is good and very easy to use.

Its a device that has very nice form but the function leaves a little to be desired.
I knocked it down a star. Its just capable enough to be sufficient enough for being a router. However, if you are a pro...you are going to quickly find yourself looking at other items in the ecosystem to meet your needs. For example, I'm considering APs and stronger switches...which its wierd that they dont' have a lot of 2.5gb options. The flex mini switchs dont' seem to handle 5 connections at 2.5. They reset occassionally. Its nice that all of the Unifi items talk to one another and have 'single pane of glass' type configuration. ... show more

Replace your router
After 20 years of a variety of routers, replaced my entire system with Unifi. The performance is amazing and the mesh system is very automatic. All of the bands are faster and the switching between them happens seamlessly. Fair warning to just give it a few minutes when you plug it in. I started to wonder if I’d made a mistake after about 60 seconds, but all of the components that I purchased would eventually ping my phone to set them up. ... show more
