I've been using Unifi products for years. These Ubiquiti HDs are definitely stronger APs, but I'm not necessarily sure the price difference is worth it. We're still deploying out the Pro versions to our clients as they are usually more than sufficient. Consider that you can get about 3 UAP PROs for the price of 1 HD model.     • MISSING POWER INJECTORS! WEBSITE DOESN'T STATE THEY DON'T COME WITH POWER INJECTORS.
They don't tell you that the antennas don't come with POE power injectors. These antennas are very pick and don't work with POE switches. This should be clearly marked on the website. Now I have to pay $15 per antennas for injectors plus shipping. His has delayed my entire install.

I've never used a more reliable AP. Have over 50 of these in production, and about 150 in total under management. It's sad to see all these PoE adaptors that come with the units go to waste. But trying to buy the AP without the adaptor included was more expensive than with it? I recall paying $287 per HD unit, in packs of 5. For years, I faced a wireless issue for my use case. I needed to support up to hundreds of devices per minute connecting and disconnecting. Within a warehouse with existing RF usage. Not even the AC-PRO was able to cope. Both the HD and surprisingly the nanoHD (a single unit) placed in this problem are solved this multi year problem for us. MU-MIMO REALLY helps. Looking forwarding to seeing what the upgrade path for these will be a few years down the road. ... show more
