It is not a wimpy shacket, it is structured and it holds up. I wear layers and might wear as the outer piece or sometimes it's part of my actual outfit. It can be dressed up or down. I loved the entire outfit that was displayed in the photos that I pretty much bought the entire thing, haha! Well anyways โฆ Iโm 5โ8 and weigh 244.6 lbs and I ordered an XL because I wanted more of a tailored look vs. an oversized look. Everything fit perfectly on it but the arms are fairly short. It seems like an XXL might have been better in length. Also, with me being so tall it hits at my knees vs. my calf. I really wanted something longer but still will do.

In the one pic, I flipped the fabric over so you can see the in and outside! I'm about 5'9 143lbs, I have a longer Torso and my arms are a bit long! I like to review because I know how hard it is to buy online! I really like this flannel, I got a medium and it's a bit big around my waist/ bust. I did buy it for winter so I'll be able to wear whatever underneath but the arms are a bit short! Just sitting it's comfortable but if I reach for my drink or something, it pulls up! I kinda sew, so I might add to the arms but overall it's nice and warm! Hope this helps!!

This is a great item. I think itโs thick enough to wear during 56 degree weather with a short sleeve underneath. I brought a 2x. I would size up if you want to wear it buttoned up comfortably.
