My hair: it’s shoulder length. It’s thick, curly wavy, fine and it will turn into a Llama Afro in any humidity. I highlight my hair every six months and like low maintenance hence putting it up all the time. I usually wash my hair every three days. To straighten it I have to blow dry, brush blow dry and then use a straightener. It’s takes a full hour to straighten my hair. The package came quickly and was on sale for prime day. Love the pink color. It was Easy instructions to follow. My hair has not been washed for three days and has been in a bun all day for those three days. Picture 1 is my hair taken out of my bun. Picture two is 5 minutes of using tymo straightener on one side of my hair. I used no product. My hair is smooth after and straight! 5 minutes and half my hair is straight!! It glides easy and doesn’t burn fingers. It did pull some hair out, but no more than my normal straightener. I would highly recommend.

There are a few pros and cons to this tool but overall initially what I thought were total cons I’ve come around to. I have really thick coarse wavy hair - Pros: it definitely cuts down on straightening time. Because you can have slightly larger sections since the heat is moving THROUGH all the strands unlike on top like a regular iron, it goes faster. It also is easier on my hands, I felt like my hand would always cramp up using a regular flat iron from squeezing it constantly. It heats up quickly and I also like how it has a guard on it to help prevent burning yourself. It also does work pretty well. It might be because of my hair texture so it wasn’t necessarily always a “one pass” for me, but it worked pretty comparably well to my nice traditional flat iron. Cons (that are sort of also pros?): you should definitely put on the glove, because this doesn’t have a clamp it can be hard to get your ends well. But I don’t mind this too much, it leaves the ends slightly upturned or under turned and it makes for a more “naturally straight” look. So if you’re looking for completely pin straight, it’s probably not for you. My hair is still really straight, but not like stick straight and I’m okay with that. I’d also say you want to still do sections (I wouldn’t recommend just using it like a brush, you’ll need to section like with a normal iron) because hair can get stuck if you don’t brush through or make your sections too big. BUT I did find I could definitely do bigger sections than with a traditional iron. Overall I’m really happy with this. Initially I was annoyed I couldn’t get my ends well but I don’t actually mind anymore and think it looks better than with a regular iron. Also because it takes me less time, it makes straightening my hair instead of twisting it up into a bun every day way more sustainable. There’s a reason these have gone viral!

It does what it says. Straightens your hair (yes, even the 4C THICK and CURLY hair) in basically 2 swipes. Doesn't burn the scalp since the hot parts are more on the inside of the device. The glove... use it bc sometimes the hair will be SUPER HOT to the touch. I starred from 2 strand twists/bantu knots. Combed and brushed it out and applied their heat protectant. The third picture is what my hair looked like after straightening. Just know that my hair has been in two strands twists for about 6-8 months. Redoing every two weeks. So it was just growing and has to be retrained to be straight again. That and the heatwave that has been going around my hair puffed up later to look like the 4th picture. Not trying to overheat my hair so maybe I'll braid it. Idk. My only con about this one that I got is that the power button is where my fingers normally fall when holding it so I was constantly turning it off by accident. Other than that it's a great product. Definitely worth the money given how fast I was able to do my whole head and not worry about burning myself.

I’ve never used a straightener before. Now that my hair is grey, it’s getting more frizzy- thought I’d give it a go. Love this. Packagings was beautiful, with nice extras like hair clips, brush and glove. This straightened my hair very nicely and natural looking. Love it and recommend.
