I recently tried the TYMO Hair Straightener, and after testing it on multiple hair types in my household, I can confidently say that it performs exactly as advertised. I have naturally thick 4C hair, which is the most challenging hair type in my home to straighten. I used the highest heat setting, and with just one pass, it straightened my hair surprisingly well. I started with freshly washed hair that had not been blow-dried beforehand, so this wasn't already stretched hair. The results were smooth, even, and significantly cut down the amount of time I normally spend flat ironing. One of the things I love most about this straightener is its versatility. I've used it on several different hair types in my household, and it worked beautifully on each one. If it can handle my 4C hair with ease, I feel confident recommending it for a wide variety of textures. Safety is another area where this straightener really stands out. The built-in heat guard keeps the outside cool to the touch, so you don't have to worry about accidentally burning your fingers, ears, neck, or scalp. This also makes it much easier to reach the hair in the back of your head since you can get close to your roots without the fear of getting burned. If you have children around or are simply nervous about using hot styling tools, this design adds an extra layer of peace of mind. The TYMO also heats up quickly, reaching the selected temperature in about 15 minutes as advertised. It includes five heat settings, allowing you to choose the right temperature for your hair type. For my 4C hair, the highest setting gave me the best results. Another feature I appreciated was the extra-long swivel cord. It gives you plenty of room to move around, making it especially convenient if you're styling someone else's hair or working around a salon chair. I also appreciate the built-in 30-minute automatic shut-off feature. It's a great safety feature for anyone who has ever wondered, "Did I remember to turn my straightener off?" Overall, I'm genuinely impressed with the TYMO Hair Straightener. It delivered on every claim, worked exceptionally well on my 4C hair, and performed equally well on other hair textures. The combination of fast styling, thoughtful safety features, multiple heat settings, and ease of use makes this a tool I would absolutely recommend. I'll be including before-and-after photos of my freshly washed, non-blow-dried hair so you can see the results for yourself. very easy to use, cuts down hair, straightening by the least 80% it’s everything that it states and more. Glad I purchased this but I am a bit upset that I waited so long to do so! I’m not sure what hair type I have but one of the photos is after I just did a soft blow dry and then you can see half of my hair that I use the straightening brush it is amazing. My hair felt smooth, weightless, shiny and healthy 10/10

Ive had this for about a month now. For curly hair people type 3A or 3B, this brush will do an ok job. Definitely not perfect like a flat iron, but its enough for what I want. Still have a little floof when done, but its acceptable. For people with wavy hair, like my mother, 2B type, its amazing. Ill do one slow brush through her hair and it comes out beautiful. Very quick and easy. My cury hair takes slightly longer to do, but not as long as with a flat iron. My mother's wavy hair is like im just brushing it out. This is pretty much what I expected and its definitely enough for what I want. I dont think I would recommend for type 4 hair, but I'll try it on my son, 4B type, and update the review

It does straighten the hair. I did a quick test to see if I needed to return or not. It is a keeper. I put it on a setting for my texture of hair. The temperature was great and worked very well. I definitely like this brush technique better than the normal flat iron plate.

I bought this because I was looking for a faster way to straighten my hair without the hassle of a traditional flat iron. After using it for a few weeks, I have mixed feelings about whether it's truly a "game changer." What I Liked: • Heating Speed: It really does heat up in about 20–30 seconds. The 5 temperature settings are a nice touch, but I did find I had to turn it up to level 4 to achieve decent results despite having hair of medium thickness and fairly loose curls/waves. • The Design: The "anti-scald" teeth are actually effective. I didn't worry about burning my scalp or ears, which is a huge plus compared to a traditional iron. • The Swivel Cord: The cord is long and moves 360 degrees, so it never got tangled while I was reaching for the back of my head. The Drawbacks: • Not for "Stick Straight" Results: While this is great for smoothing out frizz and waves, it didn't give me that sleek, "glass hair" finish that a flat iron provides. I found myself having to make multiple passes to achieve an acceptable level of straightness. • Snagging: Even with thoroughly detangled hair, I found that if I took a section that was even slightly too large, the brush would snag. You have to work in very small sections for it to be effective, which ends up taking almost as much time as a regular straightener. The Verdict: This is a solid tool for a quick morning hair refresh. However, it might only serve as a backup tool for touch-ups rather than a primary styling device. It's "okay," but the lack of a truly sleek finish keep it from being a 5-star product for me.

OMG!!!! I just received this from Amazon and I just had to try it immediately. My hair was all frizzy and curly and knotted. I have ridiculously thick hair! All I had to do was brush out the knots and pass the TYMO comb through a couple of times and my hair was soft silky and totally straight! This whole thing took me no more than 5 minutes to do my whole head. And this isn't even me trying. I have to wash my hair let it air dry and do it again on fresh clean hair and I can't wait! I was totally hesitant when I saw the advertisements about this I said it cannot be real, but when I tried it on the first pass all I could say was holy s***! You don't feel the heat you could put it right against your roots there's a guard there and your hair doesn't feel hot. It comes with a glove but you don't need it. It also comes with a cute brush and some clips which are useful. Don't hesitate to buy this product you're going to be blown away!

Game changer. I love this straightener brush. I am 65 years old. I have a chin length bob, straight with a little kink to it before straightening, medium to fine hair, partially silver gray with blonde. Once you get used to the tool, it’s great on short hair. My hair is so smooth and shiny after using it. It’s worth the hype, for sure. All the extras it comes with is good, too. I’ve used everything but the gloves. It heats up quick. I also use the TYMO heat protectant. I’ve never used a heat protection in my hair before with my straight iron, but I would highly recommend it for this one. I put the setting on the second highest. The highest was a little too hot for my hair. The grip is good.
