I was honestly a little surprised how easy these were to install. If it weren’t for the unpacking and slow start, I bet I could’ve finished in under an hour. I’ve never been much of a hands on person until I became a home owner. I have only basic tools. Instructions were as simple and straight forward as it can get. I was by myself, so I used a some bags of charcoal to set one end of the running boards up while I attached the other end. That’s the only part you need “assistance”. You can use boards, books, a step stool, etc to prop one end up. I love the way they look. For the price, it’s just hard to beat. I have little kids who need another step to help climbing in and out of, it’s yet to be seen how well they adapt to these. There is a video review of a foot pressing up against these, showing a slight bend or give when you press down. I think it’s just because of how lightweight the metal is. I’m not worried about durability, but you certainly wouldn’t want to impact something with these. These are light weight, seem solid enough, and for the ease of install + function + looks, $200 is very hard to beat. ... show more

These are edgy and work great!! New 2025 Ram 1500 Bighorn. Not too bad to install. Took about an hour for both sides. Ish. Definitely need a solid socket set. Sturdy, solid construction. Step bars to fit my 2022 RAM 1500 were Easy to install, came with everything it was supposed to but no extras in case of stripped bolt. No problem though, I had what I needed. Bolted right in. Took about an hour but I had manual tools to work with. If you have power tools it would take less than 1/2 hour. Looks good, makes it much easier to get in and out. Like the rough texture since trim is black on my truck. Hopefully they last but for the price you can’t go wrong. ... show more

The hardest part about installing these, was getting back up off the ground. Seriously, installation couldn't have been easier. Maybe 5 min or so per side. No troubles with anything. Hopefully theyll hold up to the test of time.
