Installed to ‘20 Tacoma Crewcab. It’s exactly as depicted (fit/finish/quality) and the instructions are likely to be as clear as you’ll ever see with a very straightforward process. I’m mechanically inclined but not by any means efficient with my time and if i discount time spent to remedy my poor tool organization and over familiarity exercise with the instructions this would be a total 25-30 minute labor time install.. 1 hour 10 minutes total factoring in the other elements mentioned. 10 out of 10.. highly recommend. Had my gently used truck not been lifted (i assume based on others of the same model I cruise past or walk by in a parking lot which seem to be 2” or so shorter) i don’t think it would be upgrade other than visually. Bags are color coded. Easy enough install. The video shows multiple steps. All the hardware in my box were the brackets and the bolts for the truck to the bar. So don't pay much attention to the video. Honestly didn't even read the instructions. Be ready to switch the back and middle brackets after finding out the holes don't line up. The front brackets on either side will only line up with the pre made holes already in the truck. So it's impossible to mix the front ones up. The holes are much further apart. Front ones are easily identified. My advice is screw hardware in enough to hold in place but easy enough go switch if you got the middle and ream mixed up. Set the bar, see if the holes line up. If not, you need to switch the middle and rear brackets. Holes Will line up easy. ... show more

Direct bolt-on with simple assembly, uncomplicated setup. Powder-coat is a little strange, not sure I like the finish and flaking off in some areas but for the most part it will get the job done. 13/10 would recommend! They came packaged well and the instructions/install was quick. Definitely follow their instructions in not tightening everything all the way down until you have all the screws and brackets where they need to be. I had to go back through and loosen the screw from the brackets underneath because I didn't do so. Love the look of these bars! They really aren’t necessary because my truck isn’t that high, but they give my truck a nice finished look. Instructions are super simple and the bars could probably put on in under 45 minutes unless your bolt holes are rusted out, like mine were. Look for videos online how to clean them out properly using a thread chaser. I was worried at first that I wouldn’t be able to mount the bars, but with patience I was able to clean all bolt holes; mounting was a cinch after that headache. Arrived on time but during installation, found out that the middle bracket was way off the holes and had to return it. Guessing I got the wrong model/part for my 2023 Tacoma 4WD double cab. I will update my review once I get the replacement and see if it fits this time.
