No. It uses a clamp-on, pre-assembled design and typically installs in about 10–15 minutes with basic hand tools. What is the T3 made of? Dual-coated 24oz marine-grade vinyl over aircraft-grade aluminum frames with stainless clamps for simple, secure mounting. Can I drive with the cover folded? Yes. Fold the panels and secure them with the built-in straps to drive safely. The cover’s clamp locking system secures the panels in place, and when the tailgate is locked, it helps protect your truck bed from unauthorized access. Will it fit with spray-in or under-rail liners? Works with most spray-in and under-rail liners. Over-rail liners may need small trimming at clamp areas for clearance. How weather-resistant is T3? I have to say this cover and the brand usually I associate with very good quality and purchase power for the dollar and this is a 2024 Ranger XLT and I have to say this cover fit absolutely wonderful maybe 20 minutes max while I was on the phone doing it no tools needed whatsoever for my install and I did leave the factory caps on the side of the bed use the styrofoam weather ceiling by the headache rack right behind the back window trimmed it to the size laid in the bed had to cover in place of course put the two screw locks on the front half unclipped the secure straps to keep it in the trifold position folded it out to cover the bed the two quick release locks in the back easy to adjust with the caps on the sides and beautiful fit. Value for the money excellent purchase. Considering what some of the high end bed covers cost this one I would say is a third of the price and well worth it ... show more

Great cover, was a little harder than what it should have been to install but looks good. Only issue is when attaching it to the sides of the bed and isn’t centered fully. Also when attaching the back latch it isn’t as easy as the directions stated. It is water proof as we went to a car wash with it and it stayed dry inside. ... show more

The cover arrived today and took me all of 10 minutes to install. I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of this trifold cover and it looks amazing on my new 2025 Ranger. I would say it's as good or better quality than the Extang Trifecta that I had on my F-150. If they beefed up the rear latches just a little bit and made them a little easier to use and we're spring loaded, You wouldn't be able to find a better quality top for the price. Took longer to take my old roll up soft cover off then it did to put this new tri-fold on my truck. Hold down clamps are good quality. Fabric is much thicker than I expected. If your looking to keep rain and snow out of the bed of your truck for 200$ this is a great option.

Perfect fit on my 2002 Mazda B4000. The quality of the cover is very good for the price. I bought the same cover for another Ranger almost a decade ago and even with inflation the price is still reasonable. The 5 year warranty is also great at this price point. The obvious disadvantage with these cheap covers is that the forward most panel doesn’t fold up, but the cover can literally be removed and reinstalled in a minute after the initial setup.
