I recently installed a set of running boards on my 2025 Ford Ranger XLT, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Great quality, easy to install, look fantastic! My 2020 GMC AT4 sits fairly high, I needed something I could use to help me get in and out of my truck without adding extra stress to the seat leather or "oh no" handle. These running boards did the trick. Not too heavy, but they are well constructed. The coating is nice, has the same feel of the rhino coating in my bed. Even when wet they aren't slippery. I installed them alone, and it took about an hour to do. If you don't have someone to help you; you can use jack stands to support it, or a floor jack. However if you're like me, I don't want to grab a bunch of stuff out of the garage if I don't have to. I mounted the hangers, then I lifted one side, put the furthest bolt in, then went to the front and did the same. Once I had them hand tight I put the rest in place, lined it up where it needed to be then tightened everything to spec. You wont be disappointed in these running boards.

I am a short person and these running boards are Perfect for my truck. The perfect height makes it easy to step up into & step down out of the truck. They come with all the hardware you need & are easy to install. I highly recommend these running boards.

I liked the looks of these online and read many reviews outside of Amazon that were good. When installing them tho, we could not get them as close to the truck as I would have liked. Also, they are not evenly aligned to the truck. The gap between running boards and the front of the truck is wider than the center and back. We tried adjusting it yet if the front went in, the back went out. So got it as even as we could. They stick out a bit more than other running boards and I managed to scrape one on the metal poles of my carport. No major damage yet the finish of the running boards rubbed off, it rained the next day and immediately the small spots where the black finish rubbed off began to rust. I sanded and painted the spots with textured rustoleum spray paint, which worked well and blended in so it isn't obvious I had grazed them. I was disappointed with how quickly the bare spot rusted so will be mindful to check that other spots do not start rusting. Thankfully I live in a dry climate. The tubular design may look good, yet I almost fell getting out the first time after installing them as my heel hit the round tube while stepping out, could just be me being a clutz yet be mindful of this when first using them. The center higher step is nice if you need to access the roof of your truck. You could still get hearing aids what you don’t want anything in your ear is that too that’s good enough then Update: Seller contacted me due to the rust and fit issue. They wanted info to see if they could make improvements so other customers would not have the same issues. They even gave me compensation for the paint I had to buy for the rust issue. Excellent, responsive seller who cares about selling a quality product. Highly recommend. And I have changed my rating to a 4.

I’m in Florida & have had these installed for a month now. They look badass on my new Toyota Tundra & the finish looks the same as it did the day they arrived. Sturdy. Easy to install… just don’t tighten them as you go. Get the bolts mostly snug, adjust the bar to where you want it and then go back over them to tighten properly. I installed these myself in under an hour. I dig it!

The overall quality was good. They arrived in good shape with all of the necessary parts to assemble. Installation took a bit to figure out as the directions were not the best. Once I had them installed, I really liked the look and how they gave my truck sort of a Baja look. My issue is that they are not very functional, and I feel like I am on guard getting out every time. Getting in while stepping up is fine, but getting out and stepping down is a bit of a trip hazard. The main pipe on top sticks out, I have to make sure my foot is parallel to the truck or my heel will catch on the large tube while stepping down. For reference, I wear a size 11 shoe. My second issue is there is a support bar that runs at a 45-degree angle from the top middle step to the bottom. I also find myself catching my foot/heel on that when getting out as well. My wife has driven my truck and agrees with all of this. Conclusion: It was a pain to get them installed, but I like the look, so I am keeping them, as I did not want to go through the installation process again. Be cautious when getting out especially when it's dark. I would not buy them again.
