I go through Christmas lights like crazy for some reason. I had to throw out my old ones and needed new one and long enough to go around my large patio doors and balcony railing. When I first saw these (and the middling reviews), I have to admit I was a little leery but I liked that they were smaller bulbs, the varying colors, length, and choice of lighting modes. And the price was great. So I went for it--and I don't regret it! It was long enough for what I needed, love the colors, and it's just bright enough to make an impact but not so bright it's a beacon in the night. I have on a separate timer I bought for it so it's easy to manage. I love that I lighting modes a lot. The extension cord is long as well, so that gives me some maneuverability for when I was stringing the lights. Packaging was good--bundled in a way that when I was stringing, it didn't get all tangled up. The wiring is thin and light so it could be easy to damage if you're not careful. Like I said, the bulbs are small and looks like a mini, miniature of a siren light. No issues with any of the bulbs; however, you do not get any extra bulbs in the box but these are not the types where you can replace the bulb, so if one goes, it's possible the whole things kaput. I definitely plan to get the plain, white ones to string inside and glad I came across these. I do hope they last into the next year but we shall see. UPDATE 10/19/2020: Well, almost a year later and...STILL LOVE THESE LIGHTS. I 'forgot' to take these off last year (I know, I know, I'm *that* person) and figured all the weather disasters and just being outside the whole time would mean these lights would be kaput. I was feeling festive this October and decided to turn them on early. And, to my shock, these lights look as good as the day they came to my door. All the bulbs still work and are bright and works perfectly. I am definitely buying another set/color for this year! UPDATE 11/30/21: Another year later! Still have these and they still work great! This year, I put them on my banister and along the back of my kitchen wall. I’m shocked these lights still work since I’ve abused them terribly in the past. Every single bulb still works. Very sturdy and I’m tough on things. Definitely got my money’s worth and then some. Still highly recommend!!! ... show more

I installed these lights around my dorm to add a little more character to the space. Theses lights do a great job. They have different lighting modes that range from a flashing effect to a calm sparkling effect. Of course they also can be permanently turned on like normal lights. Only problem is that I've noticed that one of the LED's has gone out. It isn't noticeable in my setup so I don't have a problem with it. Getting so many lights and great functionality for such a low price is a good deal in my opinion. ... show more

Don’t buy these products they have the dumbest design. Its default setting is to cycle through all the flashing modes. I don’t write reviews but wanted to warn everyone about the flaws, any product that has the ”8 mode” design. That’s the most annoying setting, I just want it to be steady on but that won’t happen since every time you turn it on it just cycles through all the flashing combos and you have to click through all the settings to get steady on. If a portion of the lights must stay indoors than I would not have purchased the lights for my exterior placement. Certified Outdoor is not an accurate description of this product. For the dark multicolor variety: The lights themselves are quite good. You don't want to pull on them too much as most LED light strings are fragile, but handle with care and you'll be fine. The wires are dark green and feel soft and rubbery. There's quite a long cord between the plug and the beginning of the lights, so you should have good leeway for placement. The "bulbs" are bright (maybe too bright depending on your use), and their colors are very good. Most LED lights cast an overly cold glow - often because they include purple bulbs - but since these are only red, yellowish-orange, green, and blue bulbs, the overall glow is much less cold. From what I can see, these lights do NOT have the annoying 60hz flicker you see with other LED strands. Terrible Quality Control: The first set I ordered worked the first time I plugged them in, but no longer worked the second time or any time after that. No matter how much I pressed the button on the control box, it just didn't work. I initiated a return/exchange and was promptly sent an identical replacement set. The orange and black Twinkle Star box the lights came in was smashed up on one side, despite the fact that the shipping box was undamaged, meaning the lights were probably packed that way. The lights work, but while putting them up, I found one of the wires had a cut/break in the rubber sheathing. Most of the copper wire inside was still connected, but some of the copper strands were cut. Since the lights still work, I decided not to bother with another exchange or return and just tape up and reinforce the wire. However, I will be taking these down eventually and storing them as a backup set while putting up a better set of lights from a different vendor.| Conclusion: These would be 5 stars if not for the horrible quality control. If you want to avoid the risk and are indecisive like me, I would suggest plopping down the extra $16 or so and just getting the Brizled 65.67ft 200 LED String Lights in the Multicolor + Warm White variety. They're the same as these in colors and construction, but you can control the brightness and modes with a remote (you can't with these), and you can switch between multicolor and warm-white-only with the press of a button. If you don't care about that, though, then these lights might be for you. Others would seem to have better luck in the quality control area, assuming there is any QC like the stickers on the boxes suggest. ... show more

These trees look great. They are very bright. I bought 2 and had an issue with one and they responded immediately to me and asked a couple of questions then replaced it after I sent pictures. Nice trees, great customer service.
