This is such an amazing bed! Its stiff and sturdy yet forms around your body softly. Im mostly a belly sleeper and this beds supportive and firm yet theres no pressure on my knees or joints. Its very welcoming. It does run hot but right now i just have it on the floor until i can save up for a frame and am hoping that helps with that. I dont have any experience with other beds to know how the hot level compares. Ive always had a traditional box spring bed. I love this bed though. I love we live in such a time you can have a mattress delivered in a box and left on your door step. 🙌🏻 Took the required amount of time to full “rise” but my 5 year old has no complaints! In fact she was super excited about her big girl bed. It is a bit more firm than I prefer, but for her, it works! I would not say this bed in middle ground on being soft or firm. I bought this to replace the garbage that came with our camper. We could tell the difference on the first night, even though it hadn't fully expanded yet. Having the pocketed coils makes a big difference in our comfort. We have it on the camper's plywood base and that probably increases the firmness, which is good for us. I’m hard to please. Depends on my work day and mood on how my body adjust. I know, TMI. Overall this bed has been comfy. Is a bit softer than I expected. The springs have not dug into me while I am sleeping thus far. The mattress feels cool to me.
