I've been searching for 6 months for a twin XL frame to fit my 3 year old's bed. Not only is that hard to find used on Facebook market, but the ecommerce options also are limited (and expensive). This frame hits my criteria, so I took the leap: PROS: - Very sturdy and beautiful, smooth quality. The wood is smooth and durable. Perfect for the toddler that jumps on her bed...(check out how many slats there are!) - Low profile. Exactly what a tiny toddler needs to be able to sneak out of bed (safely)... - Faster than estimated delivery. 2 weeks ETA but arrived in 8 days. - I had some questions for the seller and they responded same day - even on the weekends! - Husband assembled it in 20 minutes. CONS: - My husband assembled it in 20 minutes, but wants to advise buyers to have a rubber mallet and power drill. -->The mallet to secure the wood into its slots (it's a tight fit). I think this is a POSITIVE because it ensures a stable and secure fit! Just put a little man power into it and you'll be thankful! --> The power drill because otherwise it'll take forever to assemble and probably not be as sturdy. Again, man-power. Quality = a little work; that's life! ... show more

Very quick manufacture's response when I thought they had delivered wrong size - were quick to offer to send replacement. Until it was pointed out that merely the instructions included were wrong in indicating size included. Assembly straight forward; however, rubber mallet helpful with assembly as I believe the added thickness of paint to both male and female ends of parts make it very snug. Perhaps make those a smidge smaller? A nice finishing touch would be to paint the slats. They were unpainted - perhaps finishing them to match rest of frame would look nicer. Great value for money - delivered right to door. Excellent wrapping job - the unwrapping of parts took longer than assembly. Would purchase again. ... show more

Bought two of these for my little girls. We already had the Tempur pedic split king twin xl mattress. The mattresses fit perfectly. These beds are solid pine so they do hold up. My husband didn’t have an issue with assembly. We did listen to the other review that said we need a mallet and thank god we did! (Thanks!) He even tested them out by laying on them and it holds an adult male. The beds are beautiful and simple. Shipping was fast as well ... show more

This bed in as solid as they come for the money, you cant find a twin xl bed like this for a better price. Its not the best workmanship but for a spare bed that an adult can sleep in for that kind of money is a no brainer. I added a few extra screws in the head and footboards and slat rail near the cross slat for extra support. I had a headboard that was damaged while being shipped that the company replaced within a few days. Bottom line is I think this bed was well worth the money. ... show more

    • Slots too small
Bought two of these, every single slot where the parts meet was too tight. We use clamps, rubber mallets, deadblow... Finally my husband took them to his woodshop and made them bigger. He is an engineer and woodworker; so I know its not user error but a manufacturing issue. Also, head and footboards all had scratches\dents in the same pattern like they were sliding across something rough at the factory. Thankfully the paint mostly disguises it. Once they're together, they're sturdy and attractive. Overall, they're great just a PAIN to get together. ... show more

Overall I am happy with my purchase. The white painted slats were a very tight fit. I had to sand them down a bit. Forcing them in before sanding caused minor cracks. One of the slats for under the bed came damaged which appeared to be from shipping. Sent the seller a picture and they messaged me back very quickly with a response saying they are sending another one. In the end it’s exactly what I thought I was getting. Fairly easy to assembly. This is way overpriced. the wood is very cheap, the paint was imprinted with the plastic wrap they had it in. the way is designed to make all the screws visible. and they are not even painted white. the wood going across to support the mattress broke just by sitting on it. and im only 170lbs . very cheap material. should have bought the metal one for $100 less ... show more

    • Not all wood pieces fit easily
I’m a single mom who is not a carpenter . Trying to get the pieces to fit together was hard . I had to sit on some of them to get them to go in. I do love it now that it is together !
