    • Good considering price and quality, but watch out for confusing assembly instructions!
I got the white bunk bed with stairs, slide, and trundle. I don’t know if it was the instructions had wrong labels or the parts were mislabeled, but assembly was confusing. Also, when doing the slats on the sides and the roof, they don’t give any descriptions or measurements, simply rough drawings so it was difficult to figure out spacing. I ended up using two of the boards that go under the mattress for spacers and it worked out well. Once it’s all assembled, it feels sturdy. That said, the wood is very soft and dents very easily. With the roof so close to the ceiling, it was difficult to use the drill to drill down the upper bolts on the roof. The stairs are slippery with socks on so caution there. The very bottom of the stairs isn’t storage as the instructions have you seal it off instead of making it a door. Not sure why they did that. The slide is very slippery. They come down fast so bad to put some pillows at the bottom just in case. Also, for mattress size, the box says use no more than 6” mattress. Overall happy given the price and quality. The quality of the bed is really poor, starting with the wood and even the screws. There were several manufacturing mistakes that luckily since we have tools we were able to fix, but I don't see how someone without any carpentry experience could fix them. Paint on the entire bed is bad, to say the least, I doubt it even got a good coat of paint, even less two coats. Instructions are not great as they put stickers on most of the pieces, however a lot of them fall off during shipping so there is a lot of guessing and waste of time until you figure it out; overall it took us 8 hours from the time to open the 3 really heavy boxes (that do not arrive all at once), sort them out and put together the bed; keep in mind we love doing these things and are quite fast at it. We decided to repaint all of the roof tiles because of the poor quality of paint applied by manufacturer. Most likely will need to repaint the whole bed frame in the next year. The pullout bed at the bottom is really bad quality, only six pieces of wood to support the mattress and the wheels are really horrible quality. In summary, will keep it, but not looking for it to last for long. I would rather recommend you look for other brands. FYI the model we bought was offered in other websites, so be careful as you can see the manufacturer is the same but they just sell them in many marketplaces ... show more

    • Complicated but Great Finished Product
Instructions could have been a little more descriptive. They're simply labeled pictures. Would have been nice if spacing was provided for the siding and roof panel boards. Instead you have to calculate it. I'd definitely advise making cheater blocks for the spacing. A couple mislabeled items in the step by step instructions but correctly labeled in the full picture diagram. I had to make one of the boards for the window trim because it was missing. Nothing came preassembled. You'll definitely want a small drill bit to predrill where the woodscrews go in some places because it's pressed wood and did split in a couple areas. Nothing that wood glue and clamps couldn't fix. But all in all if you are a little bit handy and a visual person you'll be happy with the finished product and so will your kids. The bed is sturdy and the top bunk can be lifted off the bottom with the removal of a few screws. It's HEAVY though. ... show more
