This daybed is truly beautiful. I bought the full size and was a bit surprised at how large it seemed, but my daughter was thrilled with it when she came for the weekend. A few issues with putting it together. O e of the packets of screws was missing. I contact the seller and was told it would take 5 to 10 business days to send me the screws, or I could go buy them myself and I would get a $20 credit. I'm still waiting for that credit! Two of the supporting slats had the holes screwed too close to the end so that the slat slips out of the screw and does not support the bed! This is a serious problem. I'm going to have to go and have the slats remade for me at a Home Depot or Lowes, or perhaps have a piece of 1/4 inch plywood cut to size as a bunky board. Either way, it's more money out of my pocket again! If I hadn't gone through the aggravation and expense of hiring someone to out this bed together for me, I'd probably have sent it back no matter how pretty it is! I gave only 3 stars for assembly because of the missing/damaged parts. It's not a difficult job. I gave 3 for sturdiness because of the broken slats. With all slats functioning, it would have been five stars.

The weight capacity is 275lbs. That means if you want to use this in lieu of a sofa, two US adults can't sit on it at the same time. I have a heavy latex mattress, so that knocks its capacity down to about 180lbs, meaning only one person can sit on it at a time, unless your friends are really small. Or if you're an adult using this as a bed, all your activities are gonna have to be solo... It also requires an additional purchase of a "bunkie board" or a piece of plywood to go over the very sparse slats, so if you're not handy, that's an additional $90 added to this. It was easy to assemble (barring the typo in the instructions), but it had a super noxious smell. I'm probably getting cancer now. Take it out of the box and air it out for a few days before touching it. Probably good for a kid's bed, but air it out so you don't give your kids cancer.

We brought this trundle bed for our 10yr & 8yr old daughters. It is poorly designed and the wood frame for the trundle is terrible. The wood is already chipping, and it definitely needs Bunkie boards. Skip this purchase, and go with anything else!

It’s a nice daybed. Not the greatest quality but it’s sturdy. However, the slats were cracked. The description didn’t say that you need a big plank of wood to make it stronger once you put the mattress on it, especially if you’re going to place a foam/gel mattress on it. I put it together myself in a couple of hours. Everything was in new condition. I still haven’t received the mattress so I covered it with a quilt. I purchased baskets to place underneath and it looks great. I really like it. Looks awesome. Didn’t give it a five star because of the planks and no holes on the piece where the planks go. I had to force the screws in. All the screws were neatly packaged and labeled. No defects on the wood. Nice guest bed. Instructions were good. I had no problem putting it together.

I've had to build 4 bedframes at least over the past year and half, but this one might have been one of the more difficult ones. Like a lot of the 1 and 2 star reviews talk about, there is a problem with missing labels, and dinged or damaged parts. Thankfully for me, the damage was aesthetic and miniscule, or in places nobody will be able to see. However, my roommate is having to take on a risk because the one of the bed posts has misaligned holes, so we had no other choice but to leave a dowel out of it in order for it fit in. With the parts being unlabeled, we of course ran into a case of having to undo the frame part way through to swap two different posts, which was more than a pain to say the least. Again with that too was a constant of second guessing ourselves and trying to divine just what might go where with the wordless instructions. The biggest offender of the instructions were three wooden blocks that act as the drawer stops; the picture showing partially where it would be going, but on a terrible angle with no follow up to see more. Feeling for pilot holes would've been a great hint as to where they would be going, but being that this frame needed to be as frustrating to put together as possible, there were no pilot holes for them. A decent amount of elbow grease at an incredibly awkward angle does the trick at least. As for no pilot holes as well as some confusion too, the drawer wheels make you feel like you're trying to solve some puzzle of where center might be. Instead of pilot holes, there are holes on the inside block they get screwed into that you match up with one of the screw holes on the wheel itself. For my preference on how to get it as in the middle as possible, I lined the screw hole on the wheel facing the drawer with the second hole, then had to use a pen and make two lines that I then made pilot holes for myself to line up with the wheel's holes. I certainly messed up 3 of the 8 wheels, which again could've been easily avoided had they just given me pilot holes to start instead of a riddle. I think the bed looks nice and cute despite how hard the manufacturer wanted it turn out bad. I can only leave any potential buyers of this with a warning of frustration and back pain to come.

Boy was this sucker a pain in the rump to assemble 😑 Some of the pre drilled holes weren't fully or correctly drilled so we had to finish them ourselves. The wood doesn't appear to be good thick solid wood, it's kind of the cheap stuff. For what I paid, I expected the quality to be a bit better. Also the planks that go across the bottom aren't very durable either. So we're going to have to hit the lumber store and get an additional sheet of wood to help make it a bit sturdier.
