Unboxing The sound bar is packed snuggly within foam, so as to make sure it makes it safe to your residence. Accessories come in a cardboard box in a separate container with appropriate baggies and wire ties to keep everything together. There are multiple wiring options for a variety of devices and connections. Warranty sheet and also a user manual is included. First impressions It’s a solid unit, sturdy, well built. The bottom appears to have 2 speakers in it. The remote is simple but functional and takes 2 triple A batteries. The buttons are high quality with a nice tactile feel. Setup First thing I did was try to pair it to my phone via blue tooth. This took only a couple tries and soon I was rocking out. What’s cool is that the front has a digital display that shows the volume and connection type so you know what’s going on. Next I hooked it up to my 5-6 year old smart tv. My tv has an HDMI “ARC” plug so I tried that one. That was super easy to hook up and the TV started to output the sound to the sound bar right away. If the broadcast is Dolby then the front of the speaker will say that, initially. Like I said the nice thing is the volume up or down is displayed on the front of the speaker so you know it’s being adjusted. The speaker powers up and down with my TV and volume is controlled by my TV remote, so once you plug it in it’s pretty seamless, no need to mess with the speaker remote unless you want to change equalizer modes or do fine tuning adjustments. Performance It was a football weekend so mostly watched that and golf. I noticed the sound was clear from the announcers and with this soundbar I picked up more of the crowd noise versus my TV speakers. Not too much that it was over bearing but just enough to add to the experience. I think there is also an aspect of surround sound which made it sound a little more immersive. As far as loudness, I didn’t push the envelope too much, mostly used it for normal volumes which was fine. I tried different equalizer modes, there are some slight differences but I wasn’t sure what those different modes represented. The sound is great, just probably not a super movie theater type experience if you are looking for that. It was definitely a step up from my TV speakers, though. Summary Overall, I recommend this sound bar for those looking for a step up from stock TV speakers. The setup is super easy and connections were a breeze for the ones I tried. I liked the front display on the speaker so I know its on and what its doing at all times. Thanks for reading this review.

I got this on sale, 20 doller coupon, Great buy for me. My tv is only 34 inches Samsung. This sound bar is awesome. I've never had one on my tv before, this sounds great! Even l could could hook it up and I'm not tech savvy. Seriously my basketball ball games sound awesome, just in time for March maddness!!!
