It was very easy to install, and it powered up right away, but the light stayed on when I flipped the porch light switch on. I waited a while figuring it would turn off, but it didn't, so I shined my flashlight on the sensor and the light went off as intended. But after a minute or so, it came back on. The only thing I can figure is that the sensor is not sensitive enough for the location I installed it. It may be ok if it is installed where there isn't much overhang. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because, it is light outside but the light is on. Updated to 4 stars. Although the light does turn off during the day, it stays on after a couple of hours of daylight and turns on a couple of hours before dusk. ... show more

They are higher quality and half the price of the ones I bought from the home center and returned because I didn't like them. They also look pretty good. The spiders like them a lot too so kind of a pain to clean them out every couple of weeks. The construction is metal.

Can’t beat the price. The screws provided to attach the mounting plate to the wall electrical box are a larger size than my house. I had to take the mounting screws from a spare electrical outlet to install mine. As others have pointed out, the ripple glass is not a shading element at all. Still it’s not quite like looking at a bare bulb. Wife is happy. I’m happy. For less than 20$ each, good deal. Rapid shipping was nice too ... show more

These lights are very nice but I thought the glass panels would be a little frosted. But they are just clear glass with waved in the glass. They are still nice just will take a little getting used to seeing the lightbulb so visible thru the glass.

These are nice! Replaced four decrepit carriage light from the 70s outside our home with these. Each light took me about twenty minutes to switch out, that's counting removal of the old ones. The wavy glass is a nice feature. Lights feel sturdy. Work as expected. Looks like models priced much higher. Definitely recommend. I will update if they rust as we live in a humid area. ... show more

These are way nicer than I expected for the price. Glass is as shown and they arrived in perfect condition. We were able to remove the old lights and install these in about 30 minutes or so.
