I bought the Tushy 3.0 and loved it but my wife felt it would interfere with getting in the guest bath shower, which I agreed with. Because the Tushy 3.0 was rated highly by consumer reports I decided to try the Tushy Wave because of the compact flow control design. I had some apprehensions - I did read the negative reviews. But there are always negative reviews and because Tushy Wave had a 30 day like it or return it warrant, I decided to take a chance. I like the Tushy Wave and have kept it. I never want to go back to using TP. I especially like the contour seat. It is a bit smaller than my old standard seat, about 1/2 inch all the way around but I've gotten used to that. The feel of the contour is so much more comfortable than the old standard toilet seats I've grown up with. I've never owned a bidet seat before but I did use one at a B&B. With little experience, I can't say this is the greatest bidet ever, but it meets my expectations. Some advantages are it doesn't require an electrician, or a tap into the hot water under the sink, and it is reasonably priced. I've only had it during the summer so I'm not sure how it will be in the winter, but cold water in the summer is not a problem at all. It appears to be well constructed, so I'm hoping for many years of use. All in all I'm happy with my purchase. BTW, my wife will not use a product like this because it doesn't seem sanitary for women. I hope that's not true because women will really miss out. I love not using TP, and saving trees, and being a whole lot cleaner.

Ordered seat on 18 May 2025 after a month long surf trip to Indonesia where several locations had similar seats in their baths. My 1st order was lost by the USPS. Amazon refunded my purchase 2 weeks later and I ordered a 2nd seat. It was delivered in a few days followed by the 1st seat a few days later, which I sent back to Amazon. I should have kept it! I am a male and I installed it on the toilet in what my wife calls “my” bathroom, which has an elongated toilet. Installation was a breeze but, full disclosure, I have degrees in engineering, physics and mathematics and my hobby is doing handyman projects around the house. Even so, instructions were clear and humorous. We had a (large) guest stay with us who was going to use my bathroom, so I moved the bidet seat to my wife’s bathroom in the master bedroom. That was a mistake because, even though she laughed at me when I first bought it, she now won’t let me take it back. I laugh at the reviews that state the water pressure is low! My one issue with the seat is that if you turn on the water pressure too far too quickly, you could rip yourself a new one - really! Those with low pressure likely have a valve or supply line with issues. Also, if your seat won’t stay up, make sure your tank cover is positioned all the way back and, if it is, move the toilet seat forward in small increments until the seat can remain in the up position. One final note, I was very concerned with the purchase because the bidet seat forces your sitting position to be closer to the front of the toilet, and I tend to hang a bit low, if you know what I mean. I think that with certain toilets, even those that are elongated, I and others could have issues. There also may be toilets where you need to position the seat too far forward to allow the cover and seat to remain in the up position and still be usable - at least for certain fellows. We have several Tushy products over the years. This one has been great to use and easy to install. It has always been an issue to keep the bidet clean underneath where the water comes out but this bidet keeps it hidden and easy to clean underneath. I'd get the hot water powered option but we don't have a power connector near by. However, this works great and worth the upgrade.

Tushy Wave for Round Toilet. I liked the design and style. My first bidet attachment. I chose it because there is no easy access to electricity or warm water in the toilet stall. Install for rigid crimped pipe was a big issue. I didn't find out until receiving the tushy and reading the install steps. The rigid water supply pipe is pex crimped on the valve, so it can't be replaced with a flexible hose the way they suggest. I contacted customer service and sent a picture of the rigid crimped pipe and explained the problem. Their response was fast, but they would send me a flexible hose to replace the rigid pipe and I just have to cover the $7 shipping. They didn't even read my message and see the photo showing the crimped pipe that couldn't just be swapped for a flexible hose. If you have a rigid crimped pipe and don't have plumbing skills, you will have to call a plumber to install this tushy wave. 2 hours round trip to the closest hardware store. He cut off the supply line and replace the valve with a Sharkbite push to connect with the 3/8 connection, and added a flexible supply line to make it work. After that the water connections worked. Water supply is a well, so water is 50º which I found uncomfortable. After the whole install and stress on my husband to make it work, and the uncomfortable spray, if I had it to do over I wouldn't buy this.
