Pros: 1. Installation is dead simple, and requires minimal skill and tools. A child could install this, provided they can read. 2. Minimalist, non-intrusive design fits most toilet form factors. 3. Simple, intuitive controls. 4. Your bum WILL be cleaner than your peers', and you will feel superior for it. Cons: 1. The water flow/spray isn't quite as directed and precise as higher end washlets, so expect to have to "position" yourself a little for optimal contact. This was not a dealbreaker for us, given the price point at which this is sold. Just set your expectations (and your sitting position) accordingly. 2. No temperature control on this specific model, but hopefully you're aware of that before purchasing. Could be a bit shocking to use if you spend winters in the upper midwest, so unless you're the type who loves cold showers, consider yourself warned! 3. The "angle adjustment" switch is pretty much useless on the units we received. The change in direction is marginal and insignificant for me. 4. The biggest con, for me: If your intention is to cut down on waste or paper usage, this honestly isn't the way to do it. You will likely use even MORE toilet paper with this. It for sure gets you cleaner, but it also gets your entire under carriage soaking wet, so expect to use even more toilet paper than if you were to just wipe the old-fashioned, barbaric way...If you're wanting to cut down on paper usage, consider getting a higher-end washlet with a drying feature. This may be less of an issue if con #1 was better addressed by Tushy. Given the price, and the limitations of our plumbing in our home, this was an easy purchase and I have no real regrets. I had been wanting to try a bidet but the opportunity never presented itself so I took a chance on this product. It works wonderfully and is truly life changing. Literally my backside has never felt so clean and the amount of toilet paper we use in the house has dramatically decreased. I was worried the exposed stem would get 'soiled' over time but when you turn on the water to use it the first stage showers the stem with water and it has stayed clean. Installation was a breeze, although I thought it was strange the company no longer provides plumbers tape with the kit (videos online for the product show this being included in the past). HOW DID I GO WITHOUT A BIDET FOR SO LONG!? HOW DID I LOVE BEFORE A BIDET!? I have so many reasons why I love the bidet. Menstrual cycle is way cleaner. If you have the runs, you can clean yourself in between your poops and you won’t have to wipe a million times. Did you run an errand and you are sweaty down there, you can do a quick rinse. I mean there are soooo many reasons to love a bidet. Will you use less toilet paper? I’m no so sure about that because I feel like I use more to dry off. I will invest and get a fancy bidet one day but for now this one is nice! Oh! And don’t worry about the temperature. The cold water is actually refreshing! I like the Tushy and it was easy enough to install. Works fine too; I had a few issues with installation and their support was helpful. The water is cool but not freezing (however it's late September in California). The only issue is, I've had it installed for three days and by yesterday I'd developed a painful UTI. After doing some research, it looks as if the spray nozzle that sprays from back-to-front could be the culprit. So I am gonna turn myself around and sit on the toilet so I can spray front-to-back; it won't be too comfy but maybe it'll prevent a recurrence! ... show more

overall, i'm very happy with the Tushy. Installation was easy as all the hoses are hand tightened, so the only tool needed was a screwdriver to remove and and resinstall the seat. There was one question I had while purchasing this because the pictures didn't help; the seat screws fit in the slots because the slots are flexible rubber, not ridgid plastic. The spay adjustment is OK and the water pressure is a bit pointed even at a low setting, but our town does have high water pressure. ... show more

I did not find any mention in the instructions of setting the unit far forward enough so that the adjustable nozzle (which has little play to begin with TBH) does not wash the back of my gonads instead of my anal area. If you're like most people (except the Swedes), you want cold water AWAY from the little baby-maker bags. When the unit is installed without paying attention to the amount of "play" for the nozzle, you lose the ability to aim the spray. ... show more

I consider this a “starter” bidet. It’s very basic, without all the functions the expensive models have, yet it works very well! I did have to buy another toilet seat because my old seat was not tight enough and wobbled a bit, which you don’t want. What I learned was that after you do your business, you should use the Bidet right away, then flush afterward. Otherwise, refilling the tank will take up all the water pressure needed for your Bidet use. The strength of spray is determined by you, but it can spray fairly hard and well. This is not a weak spray, it does the job! Considering the money I saved on Prime day, and short of buying a nice $300-$400 model, I’m very very happy with this. It does use only cold water, but it’s summer now, so no issues with that. I definitely recommend as a starter bidet or if you just cannot spend for the premium models. For the premium models, I recommend Todo Bidet or Bio Bidet. ... show more
