  • Great Bidet!
Color: Blue
I’ve had this Luxe Bidet Neo 185 for several weeks now and it has worked awesome. I purchased two different bidets for our home bathrooms, this one and the Aquaus handheld bidet sold here on Amazon. I wrote a review on that one as well linked here (http://www.amazon.com/review/R1VXFE804GKRST). Now that I’ve had some time to use both I prefer the Luxe bidet over the handheld one, with this Luxe bidet you don’t have to reach down below you with a spray wand between your legs or mess with any of that and it seems to get the job done better than using a handheld one. The installation of this bidet was fairly simple, just read the directions and watch the video and use an adjustable wrench and you’ll be fine. If you don’t have an adjustable water supply line hose connecting your water source to your toilet valve don’t worry they supply you with one in the box, I went out and bought one before I received this Luxe bidet and when I opened the box I saw they included one so that was nice of them to do. The only thing I didn’t like was the T-Adapter they include with this is plastic, I’m sure it would be fine for long term use or they wouldn’t include a plastic one, but I wanted to go with a metal T-Adapter with a shut off valve so if I wanted I could completely shut off the water going to this bidet. I purchased the “Luxe Metal T-Adapter” on Amazon to go along with this bidet but their metal T-Adapter is garbage and I had to return it. I gave that a 1 star review (http://www.amazon.com/review/R3VFI5W786WT7S) and I had the same issue that many of the other reviewers had where the threads on that T-Adapter just don’t thread on properly with your hoses so I returned that adapter and just used the plastic T-Adapter that came in the box with the Luxe Bidet Neo 185 and it worked fine without any leaks or anything. So if you want to just use the plastic T-Adapter that comes in the box that is fine, it shouldn’t cause any issues. But if you’re like me and you want a metal T-Adapter with a shut off valve DO NOT BUY THE LUXE METAL T-ADAPTER, I ended up purchasing the, “Aquaus Toilet Adapter/T-Adapter” here is a link, (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UO1O4HU) and it works perfect for this bidet. So if you want a metal T-Adapter instead of plastic get that one from Aquaus. So back to the Luxe Bidet Neo 185, it works great, it’s easy to control. One dial controls the water pressure and the other controls where the water hits you, the women setting directs the water stream at a slightly different angle then the other one. You can also turn the dial all the way to the right and do a nozzle cleaning. Controlling the water pressure is a little tricky, it’s very sensitive as other reviewers have said. You have to really turn the dial slowly as it increases the water pressure or you’ll give yourself an enema, haha. The product does a great job of cleaning you though, you hardly have to use any toilet paper, just a few pieces to dab yourself dry and that’s it. Every toilet in my house in the future will always have a bidet like this now. I haven’t had any leaks or issues with this bidet at all, I would definitely get a water alarm sensor though just to be on the safe side. You can buy a cheap water alarm sensor here on Amazon, here is link (www.amazon.com/Glentronics-Inc-BWD-HWA-Basement-Watchdog/dp/B000JOK11K). I have one set right below my toilet so if it leaks or anything it will cause the alarm to go off like a smoke alarm so you can be notified of the leak hopefully before it causes thousands of dollars in damage to your bathroom/house. So bottom line, this is a great bidet that comes with everything in the box that you need to install it. They provide you with a flexible water supply line hose in the box in case you have a hard fixed line on your toilet. The only accessories you might want to think about getting is a metal T-Adapter, but it’s not required, and a water alarm sensor which I would definitely get as a precaution so you can be notified if something ever leaks. This product is backed by an 18 month warranty as well so if you want a bidet that works great and is not super expensive, this gets my vote! ... show more

  • Great Quality and Ease of Installation!
Color: White
Love This Bidet. I tried to save some money and got a cheaper one where the main assembly came in pieces and needed to be put together. So I returned that and ordered this. Because I had this NEO 185 somewhere else before. I did have to get a new different toilet seat. The existing toilet seat was not compatible. But that's okay. Just wish I knew before I started to install this. I found online it's very common. But otherwise the install is very straight forward and really easy. This Bidet really works well and helps clean up after you go. Saves a lot of TP. If you're messy when you go, try this. You won't be sorry and you'll wonder why every toilet doesn't have one. ... show more

  • Easy to install, great bathroom upgrade
Color: Blue
I wasn’t sure if I was going to need help installing, but I did it myself with no plumbing experience. It came with everything needed to install, and instructions were very clear, easy to understand and follow. Easy to clean, and still easy to clean the toilet itself. The only downside is I have a small space between the toilet and the and sink cabinet so it’s a tight space. But that’s unavoidable - just be mindful of how much room the bidet arm will need on the right side of the toilet. Super easy to use, knobs are easy to turn - just make sure you’ve turned the aim knob when you’re cleaning otherwise you’ll get an eye (or mouth) full lol .Also make sure you know which position the knob is in before you turn the water. We got the one with the feminine wash - it makes a difference. Going on three months since it was installed, no leaks and no loosening issues. I made sure to tighten everything correctly and the bidet hasn’t moved, slipped at all. The only thing I had to tighten was the toilet seat but I had to do that once in a while even before installing the bidet. Would definitely buy again, great product for a great value. ... show more

  • Nice and easy to install. Anyone can do it!!
Color: White
Nice but I have a real bidet EPLO toilet, and it's amazing upstairs so very spoiled with that. But this works well, and the biggest downfall is the cold water. Seems sturdy, and the water level is adjustable. I have a round toilet in this bathroom, and it's very close to the water so I leave it fairly low or it will sting your area of cleaning. So far, I like it for downstairs. Very easy to install as long as you have a shut off value on the wall. If you dont' you will have to turn the water off on the property. ... show more

  • A+ Upgrade. The Butt Has Never Felt Cleaner.
Color: Rose Gold
I’ll just say it plainly: this thing is fantastic. 😄 After installing this bidet attachment, regular toilet paper suddenly feels like outdated caveman technology. The water pressure adjustment works really well, and being able to fine-tune it makes a huge difference compared to cheaper units that basically operate in either “nothing happened” or “pressure washer stripping paint off a driveway” mode. The dual nozzle setup is also nice, and the self-cleaning feature helps the whole thing feel much more sanitary over time. One thing I especially appreciated is that installation was honestly much easier than expected. If you can handle basic tools and follow instructions, this is very manageable for most people. It also paired perfectly with our toilet seat and did not create weird fitment issues during installation. The rose gold accents were another surprisingly nice touch because they actually made the bathroom setup look more premium instead of like medical equipment bolted onto the toilet. Most importantly: A+ cleanliness upgrade. The butt has genuinely never felt cleaner. 😄 Overall, this ended up being one of those purchases where after using it for a while you start wondering why bidets are not way more common everywhere. ... show more

  • Good quality and easy set up
Color: White
I did this all by myself and it was so fast and easy and no leaking and I didn't even need the plumbers tape. I love the self cleaning option. It stays on so secure and actually has made my toilet seat way more secure than it was without the bidet. It's the perfect size and does not take up a lot of real estate. I do wish there were some sort of covers on where the seat screws into the toilet to avoid dust collecting in the little hole because that is really hard to clean properly in there. ... show more

  • Just installed, and I really like this product.
Color: White
Follow-up Review: First of all, I encountered a small problem with the functioning of the seat (fixed easily), but I want to remark that, when I called the company at the number listed in the bidet manual, my call was answer within a few minutes. The agent was extremely helpful, and made some suggestions which helped me solve the problem. The agent also suggested getting some "bumpers" (available for about $9) at attach to the toilet seat in order to change the amount of pressure on the bidet apparatus when someone sits on the toilet seat. His suggestions were very helpful in resolving the issue in the short term, and I am convinced that the bumpers will solve the problem permanently. As to the problem solved: After more than a year of use, the product is working great, except that I did run into a little problem. The bidet is designed to fit some different configurations of toilet seats and toilets - installation is adjustable, to a certain extent. As a result, over time the toilet seat can move in relationship to the positioning of the bidet. If the toilet seat gets too far forward of the bidet, it can act to reduce the water pressure going to the bidet heads, precluding them from descending below the front cover of the bidet, and effectively no longer functioning. That happened today. I was able to "repair" the problem by loosening the nut that attaches the toilet seat to the toilet bowl, pushing the seat back towards the toilet tank, and then retightening the nuts. The Bidet now works as it should. Part of this problem was cause by the fact that our toilet set is a form-fitted plastic, rather than a less expensive wood seat. The plastic tends to bend a bit, as it is much less thick than the wood. (We have the same bidet on another toilet with a wood seat, and we have not encountered this problem before.) In order to deal with this difference in the toilet seat construction, the agent suggested the installation of some bumpers obtainable from the manufacturer for about $9. I have ordered the bumpers, and they should arrive in 2 - 5 business days. In the meantime, I'm certain I can keep the bidet working properly, even if I have to readjust the seat again. That is an easy process, as it requires only slight loosening of the nuts on the bolts attaching the seat to the toilet, moving the seat back towards the tank, and then retightening them. (Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but I don't want to spend any more time editing this review.) So, 5 stars for the bidet and 5 stars for customer support. Original Review: After installing the bidet in a secondary bathroom and using it for the first time, I immediately ordered another one for the master bathroom. I anticipate that a month's supply of toilet paper will turn into a year's supply - probably even longer. Retractable spray-nozzles aimed at just the right place, front or rear selectable nozzles, with a self-cleaning option on the spray-select dial. Installation was relatively easy - but then, I've replaced the mechanisms in toilet bowls several times, so working with that kind of equipment is not unknown territory for me. A couple suggestions: See if the water line from the water supply faucet to the toilet tank is flexible. If it's not, you will need to replace it with a flexible line. (Note: I had to replace my water line, a stiff metal pipe of about 8 inches length. I replaced it with a 20 inch flexible pipe, because shorter flexible pipes weren't quite flexible enough - a 12 inch pipe could not be made to bend to fit the space without putting a lot of pressure of the supply line coming out of the wall, and I didn't want to cause a leak inside my wall. The 16 inch was almost flexible enough, but not quite. With the 20 inch, I could loop the pipe around and up, and gain a lot of adjustment room.) Make sure you have a large screwdriver or some other tool which will enable you to loosen the bolts holding the toilet seat to the toilet, as you will need to remove the seat and the bolts in order to install the bidet attachment. Next, make sure you have the wrench(es) and a set of pliers that fit any nuts on the water supply to the toilet, as you will need to at least remove the supply line connector at the toilet tank. The bidet attachment kit comes with two plastic wrenches. Neither one fit any of the nuts on my toilet. This connector is usually held in place by a plastic nut with flanges so it can be tightened by hand. Loosening it by hand may be a lot more of a problem, hence the need for some tool (like big pliers) which can break the seal on the connector nut and get it started. Once that seal is broken, you should be able to screw the nut back on with your hands, giving it one last 1/4 turn with you pliers. Use the white Teflon tape that comes with the bidet to help seal the water connections. Just one turn around the threads of the connections is enough. Teflon tape is worse than plastic wrap for getting bound up in itself. I keep some on hand for various projects. It's easy to get an any hardware store. Look up a video on it on YouTube if your not sure how to do it. It's not hard to do, but if you're like me, you end up wasting a lot, because it gets bound to itself in a tight little rope that's hard to un-bind. As an add-on, Luxe sells a T-Valve connect which has a shut-off for the Bidet water supply. The T-valve that comes with the kit works find, it just doesn't have a shut-off. It's possible that such shut-offs can be purchased at hardware stores or Lowes or Home Depot, but I don't know. It's just one more convenience - if for some reason the bidet attachment start leaking, you have to shut off the water supply to the toilet as well. The T-Valve shut-off should enable the water supply to the toilet to continue unimpeded. When installing, have a small bucket or a towel handy, as there will be a small amount of water that escapes when removing the water supply to the toilet. In that regard, remember to always turn off the water to the toilet at the supply faucet and then to flush the toilet before doing any work on it. ... show more

  • Easy to install, great value for price, and will definitely save you money in long run!
Color: White
As someone who had never used a bidet before- my life has definitely been altered! I do have to say it took a little bit of getting used to. My first few uses felt like a shock to the system and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. But it’s been over a month now and I have to say I don’t think I I can go back! Saves a lot on toilet paper and clean up time lol. For the product itself, it was fairly easy to install. The kit came with everything you need to get it hooked up, just beware it may be difficult if your water hookup is in a tight corner like mine was. Still possible, but makes it a bit harder. That would go for any bidet though. You also may need to adjust your water valve to find the perfect amount of water pressure. All in all it’s a great value for the price and will save you a lot of money on toilet paper and time cleaning up in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend! ... show more
