  • Very impressive gear HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Style: Universal Rudder Pedals
Bought these because they work with PC/XBOX, and it is hard to find the XBOX compatible rudders. The build quality is very impressive! Solid, quality materials, has expandible width settings, premium cables, and you can adjust the spring tension. Also the pedals, it comes with the Commercial style (long) and General Aviation (short) pedals. The motion sensors are the Hall sensors, which use Magnets and not contacts. The difference is that the contact sensors will "drift" and need to be recalibrated. This is a huge difference. Also the Hall sensors are least likely to fail. Compared to the Other big names in flight gear, (i have them) these are hands down the best built!! You will NOT be disappointed with these rudders. Seller was prompt, delivery on time, and the product was flawless. Turtle Beach Stand: Got these with the rudder pedals, as I have the Yoke. Wow! This stand is quality from the packing , to the materials and the function! Outstanding! Worst part is the directions. Seriously. Highly suggest to find a YT video on how to properly setup the stand. It is strong and very stable, it is very very adjustable, and the adjustment levers are easy to do with one hand. Having replaced an "Itchy-Owie" style gear stand, this is night and day superior to the slightly less expensive stands. Just super well built. ... show more

  • Smooth, precise and realistic performance.
Style: Universal Rudder Pedals
I'm trying to find some little nit-picky thing I don't like about these pedals, but I can't. To me they are flawless. I had been using a cheaper set of pedals that were OK until I became more serious about learning to fly a Cessna 172. The old pedals were not smooth in its motion or in precision. A little motion might produce no response in the flight simulator. This was OK when I was mostly just fooling around, but now I am more serious and I want a more realistic experience. Before I could not be sure how much of the imprecision of my flying was on me and how much was on the yoke. Now I know for certain that any imprecision is on me, and this makes the learning experience much better. It was definitely worth the upgrade. One thing I really like are the switchable pedal styles. One for larger planes, on for single engine planes. I was not aware of the big difference until I watched a video on proper foot placement on the pedals of a Cessna 172. This difference alone helped a lot and greatly increased the realism of working the rudder and brakes. I love these pedals! ... show more

  • VelocityOne Universal Rudder Pedals – Solid Build, Quirky Flaws 4/5 Stars
Style: Universal Rudder Pedals
Let’s kick things off with the good stuff. These rudder pedals are built like a tank—sturdy, heavy, and not a hint of flimsy plastic in sight. The hardware feels like it could survive a crash landing, though I can only guess how long the sensors will hold up. You get two spring options for the rudder: the default heavy springs and lighter silver ones. Swapping them is a breeze, and no need to dodge flying metal bits—everything’s safe and secure when the pedals are in neutral. The operation? Silky smooth… for now, at least, until those sensors decide to retire. Now, the not-so-great bits. First, these pedals have a serious grudge against USB hubs. Plug them straight into your PC, or they’ll throw a tantrum. Even when connected directly, you’ll need to unplug and replug them after every PC reboot, or they’ll only turn one way—like a stubborn mule. I don’t have an Xbox, so I can’t vouch for how they behave there. Firmware updates? Good luck. The installer just sits at 0% for ages, staring at me like it’s contemplating life. After 30 minutes, I gave up and closed it. No progress, no cigar. Comfort is another hurdle. These pedals look like they were designed for combat boots, not bare feet or socks. I’m not lacing up hiking boots to game at home, so my feet ache after a session. Maybe I’ll glue some fuzzy bunny slippers to the pedals for cushioning—ridiculous, but comfier! Also, the pedals are absurdly tall. Unless you’ve got a booster seat or enjoy gaming with your knees at ear level, you’ll need a pillow to match their height. And if you’re using a standard rolling desk chair (because who isn’t?), you’ll roll away mid-flight unless you anchor that chair down. Time to un-invent wheels, I guess. The pedal angle and travel could use some tweaking, too. With my heels at the stopper, the rotation angle feels awkward, forcing constant adjustments. Pro tip: if you’re gluing on those bunny slippers, position them a bit higher for better foot roll. Also, the pedal travel is a smidge excessive—you’re practically doing a full leg extension for a complete turn. A shorter range would feel more natural. Overall, I’m happy with these pedals despite their quirks. The build quality is top-notch, and the smooth operation (when it works) is a joy. But the USB shenanigans, failed firmware updates, and ergonomics that seem designed for a giant in steel-toed boots knock it down a peg. If you’re willing to work around the quirks—and maybe invest in some fluffy slipper mods—these are a solid addition to your flight sim setup. ... show more

  • WOULD NOT PAIR WITH THE FLIGHT CONTROL YOKE AND THROTTLE
Style: Universal Rudder Pedals
I TRIED FOR AT LEAST A WEEK TO GET THIS UPDATED AND PAIRED WITH MY VELOCITY ONE FLIGHT CONTROLS. TRIED UPDATING IT WITH THE FLIGHT CONTROL, BY ITSELF, AND WITH THE INCLUDED USB CABLE. NEVER GOT IT GOING. UPDATES AT THE TURTLE BEACH APP ARE A NIGHTMARE. THIS DAY AND AGE YOU WOULD THINK SIMPLE UPDATES WOULD BE EASY. GET READY FOR MAJOR HEADACHES. I OFTEN HAVE TO DO A HARD RESTART WITH MY FLIGHT CONTROL BECAUSE IT STARTS BLINKING OUT OF CONTROL. REPORTED THIS TO TB AND 3 DAYS LATER WANTED A VIDEO. I FIGURED OUT THE HARD START MYSELF. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE, UNPLUG YOUR XBOX FOR 30 SECONDS AND IT WILL PROBABLY FIX IT. TURTLE BEACH SUPPORT IS A JOKE. GOOD LUCK. IT WAS EITHER THIS SETUP OR SPEND 10K ON A PC SET UP. THIS WILL DO FOR NOW. ... show more

  • Even works with rotorcraft - with mod
Style: Universal Rudder Pedals
I got these pedals with a secondary hope that I could modify them for use with rotorcraft. Every pedal set I've found has an integrated spring to return the pedals to neutral. Removing that spring would render the pedals fine for rotor, but useless for fixed wing. When I saw these pedals hade interchangeable springs I immediately thought there would be no integrated spring. There is still an integrated spring. I got the guts to start disassembling the pedals to get to the integrated spring. They didn't make it easy and it took my wife's helping hands to reassemble them. But I was able to do it. Not sure if required, but I removed the interchangeable tension springs for the whole procedure. Flip the unit over, remove all the screws from the underside of the pedals (including a few under the sticky pads if in use). There are two types of screws in use here so pay attention to what goes where. Once both pedal's plates are removed, begin removing the screws from the plastic piece covering the central pivot point. There are wires channeled through this piece, so go slowly. Under that is another circular cap with a sensor on it, remove those screws. The spring is under this plate so go slowly as there IS a slight possibility the spring could pop off. I put a long screwdriver in the center of the ring and then using a smaller screwdriver I pried the spring off. The long screwdriver ensures the spring doesn't fly off and land behind your desk forever lost. It did come off with some kinetic energy, but nothing scary. There's nothing to cut, nothing to replace. Save the spring for future or returns. Reverse the disassembly process for the center pieces. When you get to the bottom places of the pedals, you may need an extra set of hands to help align and hold everything together. When all back together, test it. To switch to rotor mode, simply remove the interchangeable springs. The pedals will no longer return to neutral and reflect the stickiness of helicopter anti-torque pedals. This took my rotor skills to a whole new level of realism in sim. Felt more like the real thing. To go back to normal fixed wing mode, simply reinsert the desired tension springs. The pedals will return to center every time. While this may have voided the warranty, it was worth the realism. ... show more

  • Amazing rudder pedals!
Style: Universal Rudder Pedals
I have owned this product for a few weeks now with regular use in combat flight simulators (DCS World, War Thunder). And I can confidently say that this is an incredible rudder pedal system, and its a great value for what you pay. In the box you get the rudder pedals themselves, and additional foot pedals that you can attach by simply unscrewing the bolt using the included allen key, and sliding out the bottom pieces of the pedals- The additional pedals included resemble more of a fighter jet as it is meant to be used with the pedals angled almost upright (I never found a use for those as my chair does not get low enough for me to tilt the pedals). And, you also get replacement springs which are always handy if you need to replace them, as well as cables to connect to your PC or Xbox. Pros: - Very accurate readings. - Very smooth actuation. - Very ergonomic shape of the pedals. (Both styles) - Very grippy non-slip pads. (For smooth floors and carpets) Cons: - Very light toe brakes, it is more of a personal preference rather than a general con, but personally I would prefer that the toe brakes would be stiffer and or harder to press down as it is on real aircraft. Overall, I really recommend these rudder pedals, theyre great value for the money that you pay however the price is a little bit steep for simple rudder pedals, but compared to other rudder pedals on the market, these ones are amazing for the price and don't break the bank like more expensive brands such as Winwing or Thrustmaster. And I really recommend buying this along with their VelocityOne Flightdeck for an immersive flight experience! ... show more

  • Great for Flight Simulator
Style: Universal Rudder Pedals
As a die-hard Microsoft Flight Sim fan, I've always craved a more immersive experience, especially for taxiing and maneuvering on the ground. Let me tell you, the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Rudder Pedals are a total game-changer! Why I Love These Pedals: Ultra-Smooth Rudder Control: Gone are the days of clunky keyboard controls. These pedals offer smooth, precise rudder movements that feel incredibly realistic. It's like having actual rudder pedals at your feet! Landing those crosswinds and navigating tight spaces has become a breeze. Built for Different Aircraft: The adjustable pedal width is a genius feature. I can easily switch between the narrow stance for a Cessna to a wider position for larger planes, keeping everything feeling natural and comfortable no matter what I'm flying. Rock-Solid Construction: These pedals feel sturdy and well-built. They have a nice weight to them that inspires confidence, and I don't worry about them slipping or sliding around during intense maneuvers. Multi-Platform Ready: A bonus for me is that these pedals work seamlessly with both my PC and Xbox Series X. So, no matter what I'm in the mood for, I can enjoy the added realism they bring. A Must-Have for Flight Sim Fans! If you're serious about Microsoft Flight Sim or any other flight simulation game, then the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Rudder Pedals are an absolute must-have. They elevate the entire experience to a whole new level of immersion and precision.
