I love this bag! Bag arrived packaged nicely. Handles were wrapped in foam protectors. Side ties as well. A thin dust bag is included as well. The hardware is substantial and very well made. Metal feet on bottom of bag are well placed and even. Shiny gold metal zippers open and close smoothly. The inside is a satin like material. There is a zippered side pocket, a center zip compartment and an open side pocket-great for holding your phone! There is an outside zippered pocket as well. Inside is roomy. My laptop fit snugly in bag along with a charger and my wallet. A small wallet with detachable strap comes with bag and can be used to hold just about anything. The brown/black plaid design is reminiscent of a much pricier bag without trying to be a copycat. The simple, classic look of the bag is timeless. I am really surprised at the quality of the bag and the matching mini pouch. The bag is made from structured faux leather that will withstand everyday use. The size of the bag is perfect for work or for a busy day on the go. You can fit personal items, books, folders, a lab top or whatever you might need.
