The biggest downer with this cute little cup is the lid. The biggest plus is how lightweight & comfortable it is to hold. Also, it holds a goldilocks amount of coffee for me - not too much and not too little but just right. It keeps my morning cup of coffee hot and/or warm enough to be pleasant if I don't take too long to finish it. The lid could use a plug for the drinking hole. That open space lets out a lot of heat while the coffee is sitting & it certainly will make a big mess if you tip it over - even if you catch it right away. Lucky for me, I happen to have a cap from a gift Yeti Tumbler that fits PERFECTLY so that coffee stays hot for longer. With the open cap, I get at least 20 minutes to finish a cup before it cools down to a too lukewarm temp. With the closed cap, I get an extra 10 minutes or so. This is not a super-pricey cup so I don't expect stellar results. It works long enough for me to finish the amount of coffee it holds. Pre-warming it with hot water does help a bit. I really like this little mug. For less than 10 bucks, it's great & I won't mind if a guest steals it! LOL If you are getting this as a gift for someone, it comes boxed up nicely for that. I was impressed. It takes a long time for me to fully enjoy a cup of coffee. Temperature is important to that enjoyment. I'll nurse this cup ALL MORNING. Expensive cup, ok. But I get a lot more value out of my Expensive beans when I actually drink and savor the whole cup !

Perfect size, I mostly use it for a cold beverage when we sit outside, the lid is great for not letting critters into my drink, and morning time my coffee stays pretty hot, it may not be the yeti but it works pretty good, my ice will still be in my cup the next morning ifnI forget to wash it
