Real talk, we have 4 animals. Two cats and two dogs and despite efforts to maintain a clean space, the odors are something we have to contend with. Especially in locations that share space with a litter box. Which is why I purchased this product for my home office that sadly doubles as a cat room. It has made all the difference! The air not only smells better it seems fresher. It is long-lasting as well but after a few weeks the fragrance is starting to subside. But that is a small complaint considering my workspace is literally right next to a litter box. This product really worked to get rid of the odor and now on my 2nd one I can smell nothing but the scent of the product. After spot cleaning I left this on the floor as a deterrent for future marking as well as to frenshen the room I have tried both the fresh scent and lavender - fresh scent does the trick (strong on day one but levels out). For my kitty litter closet, I first tried 'Gonzo Natural Magic Odor Air-Magnet'. It did NOT work. It didn't even decrease in volume. Then I tried 'Fresh Wave'. This was better but only partially worked. The smell was still there. Then I tried these 'Deodorizing Gel Beads in Fresh Breeze'. Voila! It really worked 90% for smells. Just one container in a 4' X5' closet. It only lasted about 5 weeks. I imagine 2 jars would work wonders. This is finally the one that worked! ... show more

When I first opened the canister, a nice pleasant puff of scent came out, and initially I was pleased. However, after placing it in my bedroom and leaving it, you don't spell anything! I literally have to put my nose right up next to the canister to smell the aroma. It also does nothing to absorb the urine smell from my puppy that I keep in another part of my home.
