Detailed, lots of color, but very poor quality, fake grass fell out of each little bush or patch, and caused lots of residue over Layout and railroad tracks, causing need to vacuum total layout because of poor quality of the grass and the condition it was in! These grass tufts match the quality of others we have purchased and are similarly priced. There's a little bit of shedding inside the box but the grass tufts hold together fine when touched/brushed. I like the variety of color choices and the 2 pack with different colors is nice. The little roleplay on the back of the box is cute (note: I did not find any imaginary mosquitoes - thank goodness). We plan on using these with Warhammer and Infinity models. Would recommend. For my model railroad and occasional diorama projects with miniature figures, it's important to set the landscape scene. The static grass tufts like these are absolutely perfect for a simple to use solution. Once I have my base terrain color painted on and some basic turf glued down, peeling and sticking a few static grass tufts completes it in seconds. When you put the camera down on the surface for photographs or videos, the grass sticking up becomes a focus and really sells the realism. The 154 tufts included are enough to go around even on a larger train layout. I do find it best to tack them down with an extra dot of glue and for more permanent layouts, an over spray of scenic glue is a good idea. ... show more

Standard quality tufts here, if they have a color you want then go right ahead. It's a little on the pricey side but it does the job well, the tufts have a bit of sticky bit underneath but I'd still recommend some glue for better adhesion.

In terms of size, materials, and quality of construction I find these to be on par with other similar offerings, including those from well-known brands. The color and appearance closely matches the product description. At around $15-17 for two packs, I do feel like these offer an excellent value that is very competitive with other similar offerings. Looking forward using the rest of these in upcoming wargaming scenery and diorama projects, and would definitely buy more when I run out. ... show more
