Very sturdy outboard cart. It's great once it's put together. That is the problem though. Assembly instructions are terrible. Just diagrams with no instructions. You will need your own tools, including a ratchet set or wrench and a larger allen wrench. If you're not handy you may need someone else to help you. All in all it's a great stand though... once it's together.

Seems to be a solid stand so far for a 6hp Johnson. All parts were present. The assembly instructions certainly lack a bit. You will need to rig up something if you are going to have a water container for your motor. Only enough room for like a tall kitchen Rubbermaid garbage can between the rails and you would have to pull it off to get it out of the water.

This rolling outboard stand went together easily and makes light work out of carrying my 55 pound 4 hp Suzuki 4 stroke outboard over broken and steep terrain. There are many knock down stands to choose from. I picked this unit because it had big tires with steel wheels. Other stands use plastic wheels and I saw several reports claiming that the plastic wheels break. Knowing I was going to use this over rough terrain I could not risk that problem. The unit arrived in a heavy cardboard box with all parts well wrapped, and all the hardware on a bubble wrapped card. The directions were clear enough for me to build this thing correctly in about 30 minutes by myself. The unit is very sturdy and works great as a stand to store and service your outboard. A nice surprise is the great balance. It is easy to tilt the unit back on its wheels with the outboard loaded and it is easy to roll and turn as well. I have to go down a couple of steps to get it out of my basement. The wheels roll up and down the steps with no problems. It’s all I was hoping for. I’m glad I bought it.

prob would have gotten five stars but the instructions a horrendous. throw them out and take a snapshot of one good pic on amazon and reverse engineer it in your head. clear your mind and commence building it... took me 1/2 hour, need a 13mm socket and a 6mm allen head key and a tap hammer for the wooden mount.... you will scratch your head on that one..... all in all very sturdy after all is tightened up ...... just dont know how the Carrier F&$ E% mangled it so quickly on a 2 day delivery.... damn, it was smacked up but no damage to material worth the money all in all, 440# not sure bout that but my 25hp 130# motor will do fine on it.... its sturdy if you build it correctly, my 15hp johnson video for scale

Very chinsy construction. Hollow aluminum tubes. Fasteners are very cheap metal. Threads strip very easily. The directions are terrible. Once I assembled it, I realized I would not use it for my outboard motor. It might fall over and ruin my Yamaha. It is not very stable. Not worth the money. I guess you get what you pay for. I would stay away from this motor stand. Spend some money and buy something of better quality. Not worth the time I spent to assemble it.
