The phone holder is a tight grip so your phone is always secure. And the grips have an opening in them allowing you to charge your phone without removing it. I used it for my Google pixel 7 with a somewhat thick case on it, and it fit as well! I really liked that you could tilt the phone and rotate it easily to accommodate whatever you're using it for. WE travelled over 2300 miles using it and on all types of roads. It never vibrated grossly hindering my watching a movie. I would highly recommend this car phone holder device. It's made very sturdy! This is a really well designed product that is easy to install and holds the tablet with minimal movement, but it has one major flaw: the depth. Children are often going to be the main users of this product, and most children's tablets have thick cases with a kickstand. This clip can barely accommodate a thin case with a thin kickstand. Even then, it can fall if adjusted. Consider something else if you'd like to keep the tablet protected from clumsy kids. A second note: the attaching mechanism is too thick to hook onto non-adjustable headrests with an s-shaped curve. No matter how hard I tried, it could not clip onto the second row headrests of my 21 Dodge Durango. ... show more
