After reading various reviews I was a little nervous about this purchase I was and am amazed how well constructed this item is. Reasonably easy to put together the hardest part was opening the box. You will need a sturdy table and at one point you will need another person for about 10 minutes to hold the top while the other put in the nuts and bolts. It's all easy and the strength is great I can see using this for years to come. I purchased a locking device to secure it on the vehicle, well advised.

I looked all over for something to fit my adult trike on the back of my van. Nothing fit the measurements so I took a chance on this one because of the price, lightweight and ease of assembly from the reviews. I am glad I did. My trike doesn't fit exactly in it, but it fits nicely around it and up with a little maneuvering. I am disabled and am still able to get it on and strap it in if I do it right and am careful. I also was able to put it together with a little help from a young nephew. Things to keep in mind- definitely do not tighten before having the all on. Definitely use the stabilizing bracket properly. Lay it all out in the shape and once you get the first couple in, you will see the pattern and how easy it is and it will just take a bit to get the all on then go back and tighten. Everything was included so that made it super easy. I do recommend doing it on a table if you can or your back/knees will hurt. It is pretty lightweight but once the bar is added, it gets heavier. It can be done but much easier with 2. My only complaint is that I wish it were curved a bit up so I didn't drag it. On big speed bumps or low dips, it drags a bit on the bottom no matter how careful I am. Even more so with the bike on it.

So far so good. I bought to help move my son from college back home. It was great giving us the extra storage to haul his stuff. I am glad this came with a net and stabilizer. It felt secure, now looseness or rattle. I was driving my normal speed without noticing it was there. I haven't tested if it can stand up to its advertised load of 500 lbs but making sure the weight is balanced is the key....should definitely try to put most of the weight toward the center. So far I am happy with the purchase.

We love having this to help us on our trips, but the corners break very eaily and we haven't found where to get the red replacement parts. The corners need to be more sturdy. We bought a bad to go on this so that it is easier to load and unload bags. If the corners were more sturdy and didn't break easily I would give a higher review. It is light compared to others which makes it easier to install.

Love the product but it has broken plastic corners and would like them replaced. Do not know if they were broken before shipped or broken in shipment. The box the carrier came in was beaten up. Sent E-mail asking for replacement corners, sent pictures to supplier.

Lightweight, we used on a 12 hour drive while on vacation. It was a life saver. We had four very large suitcases on it and was still able to use our back up camera. Would buy again.

This is very strong but I don't like the way it wobbles or the net it comes with. They give you great tools to do the job. All the parts was there. Definitely recommend this!! Fits nicely on the back of my Nissan Murano.
