This is some made-in-china crap, but man, I'm telling you this thing is not crap! I've had this for about 8 months. I drop my phone several times a week mostly on tile and sometimes on concrete. This little gem has protected my phone completely. The magnet is strong and holds the "book" closed without fail. The pockets inside do not become misshapen with use, which was a delightful surprise. I was hesitant to use the little pockets but they are perfect for my health insurance card and my AAA card. I keep my "tile" on the left side of the pocket. Sadly, sometimes it hits the home button and wakes up Siri. No biggie for me. I got the leather tan color because most of my professional accessories are that color - watchband, valise, wallet, purse. This cell phone cover looks professional. You can also flip the cover flaps to put the phone in a hands-free position to watch while eating, or whatever. It's a bit tricky to get it in the right position, but I think being able to get it to fold like that is a feature, not a bug. In the past, I was an OtterBox person. Then, I had a nice leather two-phone holder customized from an Etsy store. Now I have a better job where I am not tethered to my phone 24/7. Since I only carry one phone now - this is ideal. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again if my phone cover was stolen or I got a new phone that didn't fit. In fairness to this hypothetical, if it does fail in its job to look good while providing protection for the phone, I might try something else. So far it hasn't failed me and I love it. ... show more

Have had close to a year awesome to hold a few CC's with additional small space for cash or registration etc. Magnetic closure nice and strong, downside I set my phone down and will inadvertently pick up small screws, razor blades & any steel except my D300 Stainless Steel pet fountain! But that's because the fountain is not Steel but aluminum. Look for that review. I use the magnet to my advantage & let it hold a small razor blade comes in handy for opening boxes etc. (Do not try at home) the blade will slip around & you might get accidentally injured. This holds enough CC's for my needs & was months before I saw the small pocket for cash etc. Have purchased other leather phone cases, this by far the best quality. Many others cheap leather or faux maybe but the glossy outside will flake away in time. Just be sure to get glass screen protection, saved my screen a lot of times! Much of the time carry just this case with my phone and my cards and don’t take my purse with me much of the time. It has more slots for cards than some other brands. Magnets in the case are nice and strong. It has held up well . I have found one drawback. I had previous holder very similar but a different brand. The phone can not pull off of the case. It is held into case not by magnet but by the design of the case. Some times I want to pull the phone off so it is not so bulky to hold. I have been using this style of phone case for some time. I had an iphone 6+ and now use an iphone 8+. In the past I would buy a case, use it until the plastic shell that the phone snaps into broke enough to get worried, and buy a new one. No big deal, they aren't very expensive. But each time, I ended up with one from a different brand. THIS time, I notice some pleasant differences. The shell that the phone snaps into is not a hard, breakable plastic. It feels like hard rubber, though it could be plastic. Don't care much- the point is is it's flexible enouigh that it isn't going to crack. It also isn't going to crack because instead of a large cutout in the side for the volume buttons, they are instead under the cover, which is formed to fit them and has press-able button bumps. This is slightly stiffer than pressing the burrons directly, but is easy to get used to. Same for the power button of the other edge of the phone. I've taken the phone out of the case and put it back in without issue or feeling like the shell will crack. This is much nicer than previous ones I have had. The card slots are nice for credit cards if you want to use it that way and theres a slot behind them that could hold bills. I still use a wallet, but I do use these to hold non-financial cards like doctor business cards, etc. All in all, it's a well made version of a great setup for someone who uses their phone he way I do. ... show more

    • Very good case for the money
I carry an oversize phone and often outside slip pockets on handbags are not large enough for it. I don't like to just throw it in my purse, so I bought this in the pretty aqua-green-ish color and I really like it. It is light colored so it is easy to find in my purse and quite by chance looks very nice with my checkbook and my kindle cover, which is nice. I hate color disharmony. It is sturdy, and my phone does not have to be removed to recharge on my Sanyo ireless recharger, but it does on some other rechargers we have, not sure why. In any case I have had it for quite a while and it is holding up beautifully. It came very nicely packaged as well. For the money, it's well worth it. Attractive well made sturdy case/wallet with handy credit card slots and another pocket behind the cards that goes the entire length for extra things like dollar bills etc. When the wallet is closed, it offers extra protection from scratches or when accidentally dropped on the ground. The leather feels soft. The wallet still fits nicely in my back pocket-not too bulky. I had the light blue for 2 years (it held up great) but then I got ink marks on it (my fault) so I ordered the light green which I like also. Highly recommend. Fits my 8 plus iPhone perfectly. There is no clear vinyl or plastic coverage on the top of the phone but I have a Zagg glass protector on it anyway. ... show more
