The pouch seems well built, with extra padding to protect the phone. My Galaxy S25 fits perfectly. I was able to operate the phone through the pouch. Pictures came out clear (attached). My husband and I used these pouches in the ocean on our recent vacation. They worked just as advertised. We could fit our IPhones (with our everyday cases on). It was easy to get the phones in and out of the cases. We also got great pictures in the water without worrying. It even worked taking some underwater pictures. Excellent buy, excellent value! Ease of use: product is extremely easy to use. Camera window is easy to locate which makes this extremely easy to identify how to place your phone into the pouch. Waterproofing: product operates as advertised. My family and I used these pouches in a saltwater bay. They were brought into the water and used to record both in and out of the water, fully submerged at a snorkeling depth of 3 feet or less. Clarity: these pouches do not even appear to be on when taking photos and videos. The clarity is uncanny. Durability: the pouches lasted a full 8 hours of boating along with approximately 2 hours of water time. They do seem like they will last a considerable amount of time. Issues: forward camera is not accessible for facial recognition. Don’t expect to unlock or authorize electronic payment using facial recognition while your phone is in the case. Phone can still be unlocked using your alternative method. Additionally, the side button can be challenging to manipulate. This can pose an issue for those who use the side buttons to take photos or videos, to lock the phone, or for other uses. I do not consider this a problem as I bought these pouches for their waterproof and floating properties. In these categories, the pouches are excellent! Money well spent! ... show more

I used the Pelican waterproof case to go snorkeling in the ocean and to go kayaking - both in the Florida summer heat. In the water, the waterproof pouch worked perfectly. No water leaked into the case and it floated with the phone inside. As other reviewers noted, underwater the touch screen doesn't work. i just programmed my phone camera to take a picture using the up volume button. That wasn't easy as the side of the case is padded and underwater it's hard to tell exactly where that little button is. I put my phone in the waterproof case while kayaking just in case I dropped it while trying to take pictures. It's hard to see the screen in sunlight to take pictures in the sunlight but I managed. I was also worried about quality of teh pictures through the plastic screen of the case, but that wasn't a problem either (see attached photo, taken with the case on). The problem comes with the summer sun shining on the plastic case. It heated up so much that my phone went into emergency mode b/c it overheated. So, while it's a good quality case and didn't leak underwater, the case can heat up quite a bit in sunlight and the touch screen is difficult (in sunlight) to impossible (in water) to use. ... show more

Seems well made, but otherwise nothing special about the design- same as all the 100s of these pouches. Ordered XL to fit my Google pixel 8 Pro (6.7" diagonal) WITHOUT removing a slim Spigen case I have on it and it surely fit. But the pouch is so big, there's tons of room left all around the phone and the phone slides inside the pouch as a result. It's not clear what phone models this XL size was actually designed for and the company doesn't seem to specify that info anywhere. And the regular size pouch would likely be too small for my phone in its case... Worst part, the supplied lanyard cord is pathetically short and is therefore useless- who wants to wear a massive pouch like this dangling on their chest/neck ?? With a (much) longer cord I could see it being worn across the chest with the pouch more at the waist/hip level. The "design" of this pouch is an afterthought at best. If you simply need a very large waterproof pouch for items other than your phone, this might fit the bill. It may even fit a smaller iPad or a Samsung Galaxy tablet. Will be too large for any iPhone model including iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro Max as they are virtually identical in dimensions to Pixel 8 Pro. ... show more
