Love the light, only issue is that it is scratched in front, on LED part. I found it scratched after installation, so not sure if it shipped like that. Either way, must be pretty fragile. Aside from that, looks great. Clean look.

The light is functional, and does have a good modern design. It did not work well for myself as the light color temperature was just off, didn’t look the way I needed it to, and it’s not dimmable. Just because it wasn’t something that worked well for me does not mean it’s not a good light, could be used in other applications, just was not what I needed. ... show more

For use as a vanity light this is not nearly bright enough. I did not check lumen ratings etc, but I estimate it puts out as much light as 3 or 4-40 Watt bulbs. My current bathroom fixture has 4-60W @ 4000 Kelvin equivalent LED bulbs on a dimmer, and this light has about the same brightness as when I have my dimmer set on half power. (and is a little warmer) To check the light output I first connected the light to a cord that has a plug on one side that I use for this purpose. The light is meant to be hard-wired, but I like to check first before I start tearing down and installing things. So the light is fine if you want to use a light as an ambiance thing, but in a bathroom a light is also a WORK light. A lot of activities in a bathroom need good, strong light. Think putting on make-up, shaving, clipping toe nails, etc. And this is just not powerful enough. I haven't found a use for it yet. It looks nice, sleek, modern and would work okay as a sconce in a hallway (vertical), or maybe over a piece of art. I can also see a pair of them vertical next to a mirror in a half-bath or something. Even as ambiance light in a master for when you want to soak in a bathtub and are just trying to relax. So if you know a little installing fixtures, it's easy to install. If you haven't got much experience, I'd get someone who could help and they'll show you it's easy to install. The value for money in these lights come in through the smaller cheaper LED lighting. While many will disagree these LED have come a long way and have kicked up the brightness expectations. The first thing that jumped out when my husband opened the instructions was "for dry areas only". Bathrooms are NOT dry areas! Not sure if they mean to not let it rain on that light or if it cannot handle moisture like a fogged up mirror from a hot shower. I still want to install it, but I will not toss the old light out "just in case". Until I know how it behaves I am rating it with caution. ... show more

This is an LED wall fixture designed to be used horizontally above a bathroom mirror or medicine chest but also perfectly comfortable vertically as a wall sconce. Mine was provided in a brushed chrome finish. The design is minimalist and a bit art deco-- an oblong oval light bar. There is no way to change the bulb should there be an issue --however that is more and more the case with LED fixtures. I like the way this fixture looks against a tumbled marble wall but the design is such that it will easily complement most decors. It is easy to install and all the needed parts for a typical installation on a square or round electrical box in the US are included--including wire nuts. The light is toward the whiter end of white--not a very warm white but not objectionable either. It is dimmable with the right switch. ... show more
