This insert was perfect for a fireplace project I am building that includes a surround, hearth and mantle that will be on caster wheels so it can be movable. Around the holidays, I can move the fireplace out into the main living room to be next to the Christmas tree and the rest of the year, have it in the theater room/den. The 40” size worked out fine with an extra 12” on each side for granite tiles and then trim, so the final width ended up being close to 6' so it's about the same size as a real fireplace would be. The flames look very realistic with this unit, far more so than another smaller unit I've had for a while and it actually puts out a fair amount of heat as well, even on the lower heat setting. Not relying on it for a primary source of heat; more for the ambiance without the hassle of starting a fire, bringing in firewood, etc., but it will be good to just take the chill out of the air when sitting and watching TV. The logs and crystals look nice, but are sort of minimal. I have some larger crystals and white ceramic birch logs that I will use when I get the final set-up done ad it well worth the upgrade if you're looking at getting this unit. As far as price goes, I've seen a few that were cheaper, but also looked it and I've seen many that were a lot more (double the price) that didn't look any better, so I would say the value for the money is good on this one. All in all, I am well satisfied with this unit and it's definitely worth incorporating it into my project fireplace, more so than a cheaper unit would've been. I will post pictures of the finished project once I have it completed.

I ordered this TUAN electric fireplace for my living space. This product arrived in perfect condition and well packaged by the manufacturer. This fireplace can be wall mounted or mounted inside a recessed area of the wall. I chose wall mounted and I found it not very difficult and straightforward. The flames are customizable with four flame colors and five brightness levels. I really love that the flames look so realistic! The remote is easy to use and has many settings, such as color, brightness, temperature, and timer settings. I love this super thin electric fireplace! It’s a high quality addition to my home and I’d definitely recommend this to others.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this fire place. I did get the 30" and I do not have a built in holder for it that most people do in the wall. However, I have it sitting below my TV on a beautiful stand and it looks amazing as is. I love the fact that you can change the color of the flames, put it on a timer, and adjust the heat level according to your preference. You can hang it up if you prefer that method, however I took the lazy route, but it looks perfect. Great paired with a Harry Potter movie night!!!

Beautiful. Large design. Puts off a good amount of heat. This is my favorite part of my room now. It is truly gorgeous and warming. The installation is difficult if you’re lacking knowledge but I hired a buddy to help out and he made it look simple. Perfect for a winter night

Recently, I purchased an electric fireplace. In terms of appearance, this fireplace exceeded my expectations. Its design is simple and generous.
