If I can help it, I'll never buy anything else! I ordered a different one made by the same company, and the release button is on the side. NOT compatible with my small hands, so I ordered this one. THIS is the one for me! The button is on the back. I had my last one, like this one, for over a year before it broke. The pieces that slide over the swivel ball broke off. Oh, and the most IMPORTANT part... the suction cup NEVER gave up! I'm still using it! Trust me, it is money well spent!

Great . However the nut that holds the adjustable arm for the up/down motion fell off and went down the defroster vent . Totally my fault. I loosened it to much . Be warned if you overly loosen the thumb screw the nut will drop out of the case and fall down the defroster vent. Gone forever hopefully it doesn’t jam up the vent mechanism. Again idiot mistake on my part . Trying to find a replacement but at Home Depot or somewhere is the plan . Good product. Stays where you put it mostly . Below zero temps made it come loose but mostly held firm in 30 /80 degrees Fahrenheit.

This is a solid item. Well made. I have burned through many phone holders and have learned not to expect much from any of them. However, I am hope full that this unit will out perform my expectations. In a sense I received two phone mounts in one. Why? Because I have never put any credit in the vent mounting for smartphones because I've never. Found one that successfully functioned well for me. This one does! That means I have the suction mount still available. If you are an Uber/Lift/Grab driver or a professional with two phones it is very useful. Great product!

Most expensive phone holder I've ever purchased. However, the suction cup on it is great. I have a big and heavy phone and it handles it well. All of the bouncing that my work truck can throw at it and still stays attached. Also I was able to utilize the vent clamp with the old holder and gave it to my wife. Two for the price of one.

Easy to install. Very versatile. I like the fact that it has two different versions of mounting ability. Here in Arizona, I find I use the suction mount on the windshield, but my phone tends to overheat in the hot Az sun, so I mount it on the AC vent during the summer months. Both mounts I’ve found to be secure as well as durable. A great value for your money. A friend drove my car and loved it do well. She asked me where I got it. I got her one for her. Birthday and she’s super happy with hers as well.

Have a Mercedes with sloped/rounded dash and no room on center console to place phone holders. Since the dash is somewhat rounded, not flat it is difficult for past suction cup items to hold - this one defies all those challenges. I really can't believe that it holds the phone in a sturdy position w/out bouncing or eventually slouching. The suction grip is incredible. This is the only holder that has ever worked.
