The media could not be loaded. Okay, I know, my title is very “I love lamp” haha but I do love these lamps. I made a sort of bizarre executive decision when choosing fixtures for our house to not have any overhead lights in the bedrooms. As such, I needed to find lamps that could be operated from the door and the lamp itself. I found these after lots of searching and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I LOVE these lamps. They were really easy to install, and while the instructions aren’t super great, I was still able to understand how to connect each lamp to the remote. What I didn’t realize when ordering is that the remote can operate both lamps together or each lamp individually, which is a nice feature (see my video for using the remote to operate one or both lamps). You can also turn each lamp on or off at the lamp itself, preventing the need to always know where the remote is. The dimmability and color temperature adjustments are vast as well. Overall I like the look of these, they’re easy to adjust for reading, the size is good, and the price was a decent value. After installing I covered the cords with plastic cord covers painted to match the wall and added Velcro to the remote and the wall next to the light switch. ... show more

Easy to install. The back plate actually matched my previous lamps. So I didn’t have to make new holes at all. New to me was the rolled shade that wraps around and clips onto the shade rings. So the box is small. The dimmer switch works well, and it does plug in, but comes with what you need for hardwired installation too. The finish looks very nice and the cord is a good length. I wasn’t thinking, but my old lamps had the on off switch right under the light bulb, now I have to reach to the back plate for the dimmer/on/off. A small inconvenience. These beautiful wall sconces were purchased for my mother to use in her bedroom as additional lighting at her bedside without taking up space on her side table. Loved that they could be mounted and plugged into an existing outlet. The packaging is surprisingly compact with the light shades disassembled but they go together very easily and look high quality when done. The brass is a nice touch of gold and the hardware is heavy and seems top quality. The kit comes with everything you need to mount and plug in or to hardwire. They even give you clear, stick on clips to keep the cord straight and in place for a neat, sophisticated appearance. The provided bulbs are nice and bright and the control knob is a dimmer for adjusting brightness as needed. Oddly, one of the bulbs in our order would work in one of the lamps but not the other while the other bulb worked in both lamps. The hinged arms are a bit tight - there may be a way to loosen them that I haven't realized yet -but we just bent them to fit my mothers needs and chances are that she will not have to readjust them. They mount very securely to the wall with the provided hardware but I would suggest that any adjustments to the arm after mounting would be done with two hands so you don't accidentally wrench it off of the wall. Overall, these wall sconces are a great buy that look beautiful and are easy to mount and plug in giving you instant sophisticated lighting and added decor without taking up tabletop space. 60 watt bulb at highest setting is not sufficient for true task lighting (I do hand sewing) but it’s definitely bright enough for reading. They look nice mounted on the wall, however would have been great to have good quality cord tubes to keep the cord straight. The clips that are included are serviceable, but look tacky. I'm impressed. They look great. They weren't too hard to install. I will admit our drywall screws are better quality than theirs, but overall it worked out just fine. I love the remote I got with this. I am able to turn on one lamp at a time and dim it's lighting, or turn on both lamps at one time. They don't get hot as they're LED. The lamp shades themselves were very easy to snap together. I didn't think I'd like that, but it doesn't bother me. They are easy to wipe clean. They swing back and forth on the arm nicely and they look good in our bedroom. Can't complain! ... show more

These are beautiful! The lamp shade comes in a roll- you unroll it and snap it onto the ring (top and bottom) crystal clear directions and easy. The lights have a switch that turns off or on and also dims. I think the quality is very nice and I will enjoy the simplicity of these lights!

The price point on the product is great, it was easy for my husband to install. I like the dimmer feature on the lamps and the amount and color of the light put off by the lamps. It’s very cosy and warm. The brushed metal finish is nice. However, these are the cheapest lamp shades I’ve ever seen. I almost returned immediately. But we were really desperate for the lamps in the room. So I am going to purchase replacement shades of a better quality. ... show more
