Features

  • TEMPERATURE DISPLAY AND ADJUSTMENT - This incubator has a temperature display and adjustment function, and the turbo duct + 24 air outlets ensure an even temperature inside the incubator and do not blow directly on fertilized eggs. The external insulator can improve the low temperature hatching rate
  • AUTOMATIC WATER REPLENISHMENT - The automatic gravity waterer helps the incubator to replenish water automatically, eliminating the need for frequent water replenishment and avoiding opening the lid to affect the hatching rate.
  • 360VIEW - 360transparent panel, larger and clearer observation field. The panel is also curved to give the chicks more room to move around
  • AUTOMATIC EGG ROTATION - The function of automatic egg rotation at regular intervals imitates the real hatching process and eliminates the trouble of frequent egg rotation manually.
  • HATCHABLE EGGS - eggs, quail eggs, duck eggs, bird eggs, etc.

Description

  • Does What It Should
Style: incubator+Egg Candler
So far I've used this incubator to hatch bantam chickens and coturnix quail. 7/7 bantam chicks hatched without issue, no problems. 12/12 quail chicks hatched BUT I ended up doing an assisted hatch for 2 because the eggs rolled and got stuck on the lip. The angle they got stuck at prevented them from rotating, so they basically punched a big hole where they pipped and dried out the membrane (they're supposed to go horizontally while punching holes in the shell then push up hard to tear the membrane once they go all the way around). Next time I'll place something to keep the eggs in the center so the late hatchers don't get shoved into the lip again. It was easy to set up and easy to clean/sanitize, which are both major pluses for me. It is also very small, so you can put it a lot of places where larger incubators simply won't fit (the main reason I bought it). Some minor issues: Incubator runs slightly cooler than the temp is set at even with the styrofoam cover for insulation. Not a big deal but you will have to set it slightly higher to get your desired temperature. All my chicks hatched right on time, which meant the incubator held temp. well and wasn't too cool even though I didn't fiddle with it once I got it set. I do keep the room they're in around 75-80F, so you may have to bump it up more than a degree to get it where you need it. The turner worked great for the chicken eggs but for quail eggs it was fair. It limits how many you can put in and jostles them around pretty roughly. For the future I'll probably get a 3D printed quail turner off ebay or etsy to increase the number of eggs I can put in and make sure they don't get cracked on accident. Water feeder is a great idea that doesn't work well in execution. Just manually add a little water when needed via the tube; it only takes a minute. You should be checking your temp./humidity via a separate and accurate gauge in the incubator anyway to make sure there aren't any problems. I dry hatch so I didn't add any water until lockdown, and it was easy to add a bit of water to slowly bump the humidity up to where I needed it. Once the humidity was raised, it stayed up pretty well. Overall I'm pretty impressed. Can't speak to the durability or longevity of the unit, but short term it does what its supposed to: it hatches the eggs. ... show more

  • Money saving
Style: incubator+Egg Candler
We’ve hatched out 2 batches, 7 of 12 hatched both times (likely some weren’t fertilized). I did have to manually turn the eggs twice a day (other reviews mention this too) but it was no bother and worth the money savings. With the cost or chicks and pullets, this was a money saving deal I don’t regret. Highly recommend ... show more

  • It did the trick!
Style: Only incubator (Not recommended)
The heating assembly had a nasty electronics smell when first opened; I believe they skipped the rinse step during manufacturing and left flux on the board. I rinsed it out with 99% Isopropyl alcohol and let it dry to remove the smell. Be sure and retain the styrofoam packaging to help insulate. Also keep an eye on the water feed; we had occasional issues of low humidity that were solved by lifting the water bottle a bit to get things flowing. For the price, the extra bit of effort wasn't a big deal; it's hatched 80%+ of eggs both times we've used it so far; temperature control was tight, and the auto-turn feature worked well. ... show more

  • A bit stressful, but worth it
Style: Only incubator (Not recommended)
This is my first time using an incubator. I'm a little divided on my experience. I really liked the egg-turning feature and the way the temperature stayed constant. What I didn't like was how difficult it was to get the humidity right. The bottle had to be at a certain height to drip water in, but not too high or it flooded the incubator. I spent most of the time guessing, then finally broke down and got a small hydrometer to put in with the eggs. Then I left the water bottle at the same height as the tray so it wouldn't backfill, and lifted it up when I thought I needed more water. I also found the little crevices in the tray bottom difficult to get fully clean after the eggs were done incubating. However, even with all of my worrying, I would say it was a success, as 6 out of 7 fertile eggs hatched! 3 were non-starters and one still seemed viable when I candled on day 18, but never pipped. I gave it an extra couple of days, but the other 6 chicks all pipped and hatched on day 19, and on day 20 I had to get them out of there because they weren't drying off in the humid environment. After that, I could never get the humidity above 55% with the one egg in there, so gave it up when I candled and saw no movement on day 22. The 6 chicks that hatched all seem to be healthy and doing well. If you're stressy like me, maybe pop for an incubator with more bells and whistles. Otherwise, this is a good budget incubator for those who aren't super worried about their hatch rate or micromanaging the process! ... show more

  • Good some chicks hatched!!! Yeah!!
Style: Only incubator (Not recommended)
I am not sure if it is automatic turning?? Nothing in the information says anything about it The only issue is that the water gravity is not ideal.. had to lift it up more and tilted a bit.. kind of had to water feed it by hand But it's working.. got 7 babies hatched And I manually unplug and plug it back to make sure the eggs turn ... show more

We hatched 5 out of 6 eggs. Its an excellent incubator but I would not hatch more than 5 in it. Especially if you are going to wait for the first chicks to dry before takeing them out. We think the first chick caused the last egg to fail by rolling it and moving it, Lockdown is the critical stage and the eggs really shouldnt be shaken or rolled. We wont incubate more than 5 at a time, and its really fun too... ... show more

Great for the price. Made some modifications with small drill holes to get humidity right in my environment and then taped shut during lockdown.
