    • Hatches eggs but needs some help…
The media could not be loaded. First thing I noticed is the temperature is only in Celsius, no biggie easy to convert online. Second thing I noticed, there’s no way to monitor the humidity level, nor is there an alarm to alert you when the level has dropped. Grabbed a hygrometer from Walmart for about $4 and taped it inside with the gage facing outward to fix that issue. Still had to keep an eye on the levels since again, there’s no alarm. The water bottle system is a good idea so that you are not lifting the lid, but the design could be more practical. For one, when I tried putting an open water bottle onto the base, water just poured out of the reservoir. I put a top on the water bottle and punctured a small hole at the top to help slow the flow, but the water flow wasn’t regulated. I had to tilt the water bottle and base to allow more flow whenever I’d notice a drop in the humidity. The most bothersome issue I found was the turner would not turn the eggs. My eggs were on the smaller side and yet it had a hard time spinning them and most time it would just click repeatedly without actually turning them. So of course this meant I had to spin the eggs manually multiple times a day. In the end, all of my 12 eggs showed signs of development and 5 hatched on and a day after the 21st day. Could all 12 have hatched if I didn’t encounter these issues? Who knows! I’ll probably use it a few more times just so I get my moneys worth out of it. It’s good for a first timer or maybe as a classroom project but if you’re experienced or plan to make a hobby out of hatching, you’re best to invest in something a little more functional. ... show more

Tried 4 eggs at first did very well. Now i put 7 eggs...and it seems like theres no heat come out of this machine at all.
