Extremely high quality materials. I expected the rack to shake some before bolting it to the floor, but it is solid. I strongly recommend bolting it to the floor as it is shallow and large amounts of weight may cause it to flip. Cement screws are included. I believe that this product is a bargain at the current prize and would compare to the high end racks that are twice the cost . It fits very well in a small home gym and at 3x3 11 gauge steel with 5/8 holes you can find just about any attachment needed. The included J hooks are solid as well as the safety straps. The hole spacing is optimal and are laser cut numbered. Overall, its a great looking piece foe a small home gym. I purchased a dip and storage attachments from other companies and they fit perfectly

The product is durable and of great quality! The diameter of the shaft is the perfect size for my small hands (just to get an idea.. I'm 5'2" and fit size S in the latex gloves). It allows me to successfully complete a set without losing grip or reach fatigue in my forearms before I can even get a good workout in (which can get pretty frustrating if the diameter of the shaft is too large). The loadable sleeve length (the ends of the bar) is long enough to fit as many plates as you want and its diameter is 2 inches which is the right fit for the standard weighted plates. However, the knurling isn't as great as a more expensive EZ curl bar, but it still has the hand grips near the center which gets the job done. Because of the limited knurl patterns, you will be limited on hand placements. The two sections on either side with knurl are the most common hand placements, so I'm not really at a disadvantage when doing any workouts. Other than the limited knurling, the bar itself is comfortable, provides great grip, and is more on the affordable side compared to other places!

First impressions: Bar was perfect and just what anyone would want in a new training product. Box arrived in good condition with no damage to the cardboard tube. I trained Tri's and Bi's the day this curl bar was delivered and I'm happy to say it has perfect chrome bar angels for Tricep Extensions (Skull Crushers) and wide/close grip Bicep Curls. > This 18 pound Bar total length is in fact: 47 1/2" > This is an "Olympic" barbell, meaning that you can only load 2" diameter hole Olympic weight plates. > Bar Knurling is perfect and is located where it needs to be. > The bar collar sleeves are also chrome and spin nicely with their bearings with NO lateral play wiggle room. > My bar did have some very very light oil on the whole bar, but just wipe it down with a wet towel and then dry it with a paper towel, absolutely no problem and expected with a product with spinning bearings. > Everyday Essentials 2" Curl Bar 2 year Warranty included as per "Warranty Card" include in shipment. > Also stated on "Warranty Card": Free Clamp Collars if you are satisfied with your order and share your opinion by writing a product review, then email: [email protected] with your Amazon.com order number and url link to your review to receive your clamp collars. This is a perfectly fine ez curl bar. Not the best I've ever touched, but for the price, it's a fantastic deal. The bearings are smooth, only a small about of wiggle up and down. The bends/grips on the bar are at an expected angle. Easier on the wrist/bicep than a straight bar. The knurling is quite intense. It's the roughest knurling I've felt. Some may consider that good, some may not like it. A pair of gloves is a good workaround if it bothers you. I feel like the grip on the bar is a little thin, but it seems to be a standard diameter, so that's not a problem with the bar, probably just my large hands. Again, gloves help with that. There are minor manufacturing imperfections along my bar. Nothing that bothers me as it was so cheap, but someone else may be annoyed by it. I attached some pictures. It really doesn't change the usability of the bar, it's just aesthetics. Packing was a big tube, inside a long rectangular box, shipped out by Amazon. Both boxes were in excellent shape when delivered. Overall, very cheap and useful ez curl bar. I'm happy with the purchase.

waited for the smith machine conversion to be available after couple of months or maybe over a year of it being out of stock. Instructions were terrible but managed to put it together. works amazing so far only down side is if you still want to use your own barbell you need to skip certain pins to put the j cups/spotter arms. also no more space for the weight holders but cant complain best smith machine/1/2 rack for the money.

It's a great basic EZ bar for a very reasonable price. The knurling is pretty deep, so there's potential for it to tear up your hands if you're not careful. Over time it should mellow out a bit though. The bar is packaged in a sturdy tube like a bar you'd order from Rogue, but Amazon then chose to package that tube in another box and they didn't do a great job with that packaging (they didn't put anything in the outer box to prevent the tube from sliding around, which made it studpidly difficult to carry around). Overall though, it's a great bar for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it!
