The media could not be loaded. Do not stand on it do not let your kids stand on it It is a hollow table but well constructed I am absolutely happy that I decided to buy this table Some areas of this table are hollow to cut down on weight it is not Solid wood And the outer shell of the table that looks like wood is made of some type of plastic But has texture like wood It might be lightweight compared to some tables but be careful bumping into it, it does still hurt ... show more

I was so excited to get this table but was disappointed when I opened the box and saw deep scratches on the top of the table. I tried to rub them out but they are in to deep.
