Our mini loop resistance bands are grippy, they will stay on hips and will not slide off. They can be used for hip and glute activation and strengthening as well as dynamic warm up. Just put the ankle resistance bands around your knees and go for a long stride walk. You will not only get your hips and glutes warmed up, but your entire body. You can fix up your weak and painful "granny hips" by putting on the band and walking forward, backward, and side to side. Would not recommend directly on skin, as it kind of bites, but plenty of bands are like that anyway. No biting whatsoever with just a layer on underneath the band, even if you're doubling/tripling/quadrupling up bands, which is awesome. As long as you're wearing something underneath, they're totally comfortable. They do have a strong rubber smell when first taking them out of the packaging , which is totally expected with rubber. Just space and leave them out for a couple days or so and its just vanishes entirely on its own for these. Been making consistent progress with the bands, each one has held up for nearly 4 months now with zero sign of wear or losing its resistance. A pack of the black ones and a pack of the multi color/"weights" bands basically lets you do the equivalent of larger plates + your incremental smaller plates. I like these. The black plastic buckle seems heavy duty, like it will last a while. The elastic hasn't stretched out too much yet. My only complaint is that the material scratches your skin if you're wearing shorts.

These Tribe exercise bands are great. I have Achilles Tendinitis, and my physical therapist recommended some exercises to stretch my calves, ankles and hips. I needed bands and ordered these. They are extremely well-made and durable and the set comes with various levels of tension so it is easy to find one that works with each exercise. I use them daily and I can already notice that, besides the workout they provide, I can also feel my Achilles Tendon loosening up.
