The material itself is very nice. I like the colour and the feel of it. The larger spikes were a bit too hard and painful though, I couldn't use it. The smaller cap for it feels nice enough but it won't stay put. Either the rubber pops out or the screw cap comes loose. It's meant to be relaxing but when you have to keep frigging with it, that rather defeats the purpose. It's also a bit small and I have arthritis so my hand sometimes cramps up. Also, I don't suggest using the string for it as that just ends up getting in the way and getting tangled up.

Well, where do we start? When I received the product, its box was pretty beat up and main spikey attachment had some smudges on the teeth (which leads me to think this was a used product). However, to mitigate this, I'd just suggest you clean and disinfect your product before use (as we should with most/all things we purchase for body surface use). Although, the product was in shrink wrap and it was sealed (so I'll give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt). The actual product looks more indigo than the purple shown in the listing's pictures, so I am not sure if there was a mix-up during the fulfillment stage or not. The product has two attachments. One has the spikey, cone shape teeth (like most of the products sold in the market) and the other has cylindrical shape with 5 raised notches. The product's material is pretty sturdy, but I feel that it may give too much way when you start scrubbing (however, the black insert is what gives most of the firmness to the attachments). I'd say it's a standard scalp massager that you can get a knockoff of on Amazon (I say knockoff with assumption that this seller is the original vendor of this design/product). Just a heads up though, after each use just make sure to take a part and clean/dry the product or you can expect mold/mildew build up from trapped water. I didn't get to use it (as I forgot to grab it during my hair washing ceremony), but I wish there were some firmer plastic/hard silicon pieces that could help in the scrubbing process. I'll update more as I use it. Nonetheless, happy hair care journey guys!

I keep this in the shower and use it to give my scalp and extra scrub. Firm enough to be effective, but soft enough to not hurt your head. Love the color and the fact that it comes with two different heads. My hair is long an curly, but my husband's is short and straight, so the other head is great for him. Easy to change heads, but they stay on well with each change.

I just received this today! I’m so in love with this! I was looking thru several and finally made a decision on this one. It’s something so simple but I know will be a game changer in my hair growth journey!!! I was looking for something to help with my weekly hair oil treatments get into my scalp and exfoliate. I use a comb usually. Just very impressed. I loved the packaging and I love the changing of the heads. Such a neat idea. I’m happy with my purchase. I was brushing thru my dry hair on my scalp too it’s so satisfying lol! And even leaves a little tingle after. I was nervous about it tugging on my hair. It doesn’t at all I’m kindve amazed. I enjoyed using this product and it felt very good on my scalp. If you are in a hurry on your wash day you may opt to use your hands instead, especially if you have a lot of hair but if you have the time you will enjoy it. This is why I gave 4 starts instead of five because it takes some time getting through your whole head especially if you follow the directions of using the tool properly. I will also try it out when I take my braids down to give my scalp a nice massage before I actually wash.

When it’s dry it is easy to change out the brush attachments but when wet they do not hold because the attachments are rubber and become flimsy. Also not friendly to long hair, because they create tangle, they feel good on the scalp but can cause tangle. I have long hair (past my butt) and have had to use this in sections little at a time to avoid tangling up my hair.
