Trak4 isn't bad, and works for the most part. Accuracy seems to get better the longer it is installed. The device needs to come with longer wires and connectors to be 5 star. Mounting is sort of, well, redneck - two holes to "zip tie" it to your car. No 2-sided tape provided.

I was looking for a way to track my car in the case of theft, but was looking for the cheapest monthly service. This one is the cheapest by far as compared to other units for sale on Amazon. You can't use a Tile or AirTag, as the thief could find out about it with their cell phone. So I only could use a unit that requires a separate cell service. I purchased one of these and activated the cheapest monthly service by prepaying a year in advance. I purchased the hourly updated service. The app is really easy to use, and you can also see the location history, in which it can be filtered by the day. The app also tracks the unit's battery level (in percent) as well as temperature. Both of these data points are also available in history. I hard-wired my unit in my car, so it will always be charged. The unit is small enough to be hidden. I really liked every aspect of this unit that I purchased 2 more for my other cars. Some auto insurance policies have a discount if you have a GPS tracking device to aid in the recovery of the vehicle.

This is exactly what was needed to be attached to my travel trailer since it is rented to others it tells me everything that I need to know and was simple to install after finding battery connectors since it didn't come with them

So the the number one question is how much is the subscription. The company makes it very difficult to find out on purpose until you purchase and are ready to activate. So I pay for and annual plan that starts tracking the minute the unit feels motion sends a ping and then every 10 minutes afterwards as the tracker is moving. (Premium: 10-min moving, daily check-in) Annual Premium at $9.99/month paid annually Includes Basic reporting frequency plus 10-minute while moving (with daily check-in) $119.88 Additionally I attached mine to a ML7-12 - 12 VOLT 7.2 AH SLA BATTERY - Mighty Max Battery I bought on amazon link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K8V30D0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1. This allows be to leave the tracker in my cargo trailers for up to two months without charging. The will hold its on charge for 2 weeks so removing the bigger battery for a day and charging you asset is still protected. I finally installed my unit this morning and it was easy to do with just hooking up the two wires (+ and -) and mounting it (in my case with zip ties). I went to the website and setup my account (prior to installing) and that was just as easy and simple to do. I created my Geo Zone and went to track my newly installed unit. However it didn't show up, so I contacted support and they informed me it would take a bit of time to update for the very first time as it charged up and connected to the system. This did so in my case about 1.5-2 hours after hooking it up to the battery. If I remember correctly tech support answered me in like 5 minutes and were very responsive to follow up emails as well, even the one thanking them and letting them know it was working. A side note for anyone getting this, after setting up your account it will show it last updated somewhere (in my case Texas) with a battery charge of whatever. This is more than likely when they tested the unit and then shut it down for packaging awaiting to ship to the person who purchased it. After I got it setup it shows on the history report a few other entries of it reporting it. There is an option in the settings to delete/purge any prior history so you don't have to see this anymore. While I hope I never need this unit it will now bring me a piece of mind knowing I can track my ATV.

I have one of the 12v wired units installed in my travel trailer. When the unit suddenly stopped working while we were traveling I emailed support, got a prompt response and a replacement unit was waiting when we arrived back home. Most recently I had a billing issue. I emailed support early on a Sunday morning, got a prompt response from Jason and a quick resolution.
