Buying this product is like playing the lottery, maybe you'll get lucky and all of them you get will work! I have purchased a total of 8 of these gadgets. First a 3-pack and then a 5-pack. With the 3-pack I was new to them and may have broken one of them or it was defective. The second of 3 had a dead battery and the third worked as advertised. When I started working with the 5-pack I avoided past mistakes to no avail. The white TrackR is defective and has a completely dead battery (I tested with a working battery). The blue TrackR has a battery that is so low it won't connect or it's defective. The red TrackR has a battery warning as soon as I set it up. The black TrackR has a battery warning at setup. The grey TrackR has a battery warning at setup. Of 5 batteries none are charged. Of the 5 gadgets 1 maybe 2 are defective. They offer 'free battery replacement' where you just have to pay shipping. I want the working stuff from the first time I bought it without having to pay hidden fees for a working battery. You should send me a 5-pack of all working gadgets with full batteries. If you buy these buy extra batteries and extra gadgets because they won't all work when you get it. Pretty sure the seller won't prove me wrong either. ... show more

    • Don’t even try to get your “free” $20 battery!!

Some of the batteries were dead on arrival and it’s extremely difficult to change the batteries, especially if the stickers are used, because the force needed to remove the case puts stress on the adhesive and it comes off the object it’s attached to. And then it won’t stick back on very well, requiring that the glue be scraped and cleaned off and then replaced with a new sticker. And the “free” battery replacement is a joke from start to finish! You have to fill out a form and then when you get to the end they want to charge your credit card about 20$ shipping for ONE battery! You can’t even order a second battery for a different device and combine them in one shipment. So if all 5 batteries are dead, it would cost you $100 to get 5 free batteries. And to top that off, the app has a bug in it, that prevents you from clearing your shopping cart and then adds another battery to the cart, making the total more than 1 and then refuses to allow you to order more than 1! The only way to clear this is to delete and reinstall the app and then lose all your settings. If you order these, and have any batteries go dead before the return date, return the package and request a new replacement, and repeat until you finally get all good ones. ... show more

I actually purchased 2 sets and loved them at first. If I had my keys but not my phone I could push my TrackR button on my keys and my phone would beep. Once I elft my keys in Kohls and it took me right to them. Now that I have had them for several months they don't do anything. I have re-installed the program and when I attempted to add the first locator it would not connect with it...ever!!! I believe there are good trackers out there but if they look too good to be true price wize....probably are!!! Now it is too late for me to return. ... show more

The Trackr is better than the tile, better volume, however I'm really disappointed that they keep sending their product with batteries that have no juice. It is pretty tricky to unscrew to replace batteries, not to mention having to order batteries and wait for those. Might be nice to have a little instructional card on how to unscrew... You need tape to get a good enough grip and still it is tricky. Also might be nice to have batteries not installed rather than stuffer expired ones. ... show more

need a high and a low and mid rage tone....that way it works for all...right now if have trouble hearing high tones...it's pretty worthless as far as find via sound...needs work...I have a few other people who have the same issue with them......the reason for the stars is when I buz it, it rings my phone...so my phone is now easy to find...that's nice... ... show more

The instructions for the system were written in a font size so small that it required a magnifying glass, not reading glasses, a magnifying glass to read. When pairing with your phone, the instructions on their website says to “click the button on your Trackr to pair”. What button? Where is it? What the instructions don’t say is to press on the LED on the bottom of the device. Horrible design. I got 3 of the 5 units connect to my phone. Within 10 minutes, 1 device declared its battery needed replacement. So much for quality control when packaged. I attached one TrackR to my keychain, moved it 50 feet from my phone in the same room and tried to find it with the app. The app could not find it. I moved the keychain 30 feet from the phone and the app picked up the TarckR. The app guided me close to the keychain. When I picked it up there a siren sound coming from the TrackR that was so faint I had to turn off the TV in the room to hear it. The sound was too low to be helpful. Horrible design. Same thing for the 3 LEDs in the TrackR. They flash when the app activates a search but are too dim to be of any help. The only exception would possibly be in a completely dark room within 10 feet of the TrackR if the device is facing towards you. Horrible design. DO NOT get me started on the how to remove the cover to change the battery. All I can say is that a Google search on the process involves duct tape. Seriously. Duct tape. We really liked the different colors and being able to replace the battery-vs- replacing the whole device. Found it odd that there were 5 trackers and only 4 gift boxes in the package(?) but otherwise very satisfied . My children use these for their keys, their phone and their pets.
