This thing sucks!!!!! The small shaver I use to do some of the fine edging on my head broke so I needed a new one. I have had this exact same razor used on me by a professional in the past and it worked great. That's what made me want to get this to replace my broken one. Well, my neck is currently on fire!!! I have big, red, painful, inflamed bumps all over my neck along with the hair it was supposed to be taking off. It's not even all that thick on my neck, but it's all still here. I originally planned to return this item after trying it out for the first time. Before I got a chance to return the item I reread some of the reviews and saw someone mention using it gently on kids. Turns out, I was applying too much pressure. The next day I tried it again much gentler and my skin was extremely smooth afterwards. The size of the shaver combined with the color choice makes it kind of look like a toy, especially with the plastic exterior. However, as long as you don't treat it like a toy, it shouldn't break like a toy. I charged it before first use and about 2 weeks after the last use without timing it but both times took less than an hour. I only use it for personal use so I'm not sure if i'll ever completely run the battery down to zero and the blade seems to cut well on stubble. I'd recommend this item for personal use, as a gift, or for cleaning up stubble. ... show more
