The assembly on this was a bit challenging and took a little bit of time. The only inconvenience I find is that you can’t throw these in the wash,( bought the white ones) besides that, I love the look and feel of this beautiful hammock! Ended up getting two.

Kind of easy to assemble, some of the pieces are a little heavy. I'm an average sized guy in his 50's -- I managed alone, but if you're smaller or have any kind of physical issue with lifting/holding and maneuvering weights; you will want an assistant. No special tools are required, I assembled it in about 1/2 hour. not difficult at all. It comfortable and as stable as a backyard hammock needs to be. The hammock is easy to spot clean with a sponge and soapy water, already had a friend spill his soda in it. Really, this is a purchase I'm happy with... ... show more

The hammock is great, my wife loves it and it’s attractive. I gave it 4 stars because there were no assembly instructions (although it is easy to assemble) and I had to add bolts to secure the chains to the frame and drill holes in the base to secure it to the ground with rebar. Without securing it to the ground it was constantly knocked over by the wind. So manufacturer, please add a better system of securing the chains from the canvas to the frame and drill 45 degree hole’s through the base supports to anchor to the ground. ... show more

Really good looking and comfy. The hardware for attaching the hammock to a tree is not included, so we had to order it separately. Haven’t tried to lay with another person yet, but me and my dog fit perfectly in it. We both love it.
