I read people saying that they didn't have guards and there was hair on their trimmers when they got the package. I didn't get guards either.....but I don't use them. There were some hair fibers but they honestly looked and felt fake like they were plastic or something..... Anyway the trimmers are incredible. I think I like them better than the popular gold ones barbers use. They are freaking powerful. Removes bulk easily. Super close but not sharp (like the popular gold ones).
