It should out last a lead acid battery by a long shot. However, I can’t accurately comment on longevity ar this time given having just installed it 11/30/24. Someone threw shade over the directions. To their credit, the silver button isn’t explained in the directions, but is covered in the literature on the page. That should not stop you from buy this product.     • Battery causes voltage spikes that can damage your car. No response from seller.

I installed it in my Nissan, and it starts and idles fine. The problem is when I accelerate or rev the engine, the voltage jumps from 14V to 20V and my gauges flicker and shut off. I tried restarting the car, checked the battery connections, checked and tested the alternator, everything tested good. I could not get it to stop jumping to a high voltage when driving. At Idle, the battery measures 14V. When the car is off, the battery measures 13.8V. It is only when I accelerate or rev the engine, the voltage goes up to 20V. I removed the LiFePO4 battery and installed my original lead-acid battery and everything worked like normal. I contacted the seller [email protected] multiple times and filled out a form on their site. No response. It's been weeks. ... show more

It's been a year since I've installed this batter and so far, so good. We always put the battery on a Lithium battery charger from Antigravity and have no problems. Fit perfectly and definitely a weight savings over the original battery. Install is also easy because the weight. HORRIBLE battery. Suddenly died on me and now only charges to 2%. This is used on a garaged, weekend car and sits on the lithium charger when not in use. To have a battery like this die in 8 months from such limited use is insane AND there’s no warranty! Just buy you batteries from Walmart/Autoparts store and know you’re better protected than this ... show more

Why have a lead acid battery in an EV car just does not make sense. This lightweight battery does not need anywhere near as much charging as the lead acid original. I've used it for a year now and it works like new.

Update: decided to buy a second battery for another vehicle and arrived dead. So honestly looking at the other reviews and my personal experience these batteries are hit or miss. My first battery is still good after months though will keep updated. Put on my genesis coupe, shaved off lots of weight cranks my car quickly even in the cold it has no issues been about 6 months now and so far so good. This is my go to battery now. ... show more

Installed in a 2004 911 GT3 in April 2025 and dropped 40lbs off of the full size battery that was installed previously. I will update this post as time goes on, but so far, so good.
