  • Worked perfectly for extending coverage throughout my home
Size: 5 Port
My house was built with CAT 6 cable connections in each room with a central hub where they all "terminate" in the laundry room. We use an Xfinity router/modem and were extending wifi coverage by connecting google mesh points. Unfortunately, some of the rooms had weak wifi coverage, so we purchased this ethernet switch to get our home LAN up and running. I simply plugged an ethernet cable from the back of our Xfinity modem/router and into one of the CAT 6 jacks. We then found the terminal end of that CAT 6 cable in our central "hub" and connected it to the TP Link ethernet switch. Using the switch, we connected the rooms where we had weak signals and were able to use an ethernet connection for our PCs in those rooms. Worked like a charm and super fast speeds! ... show more

  • Delighted by the Smooth Usage Experience on PS5 and PC
Size: 5 Port
Despite being low-priced, this is an extremely stable and reliable product. I've been using this product for several months, and it functions flawlessly, leaving me satisfied. It's quite challenging to find a product that can deliver on three key points: affordability, high performance, and durability. So, I consider myself very lucky to find this product. Positive aspects: - I have connected this product to both a PS5 and a PC using wired LAN cables, allowing me to seamlessly work and enjoy gaming and entertainment. - As wireless, WiFi tends to be unstable, I was dissatisfied before, but thanks to this product, I can now utilize the internet with great stability. - It doesn't generate much heat. Many hub-related products tend to overheat, but this product doesn't pose much of an issue in that regard. Areas for improvement: - The design isn't stylish, so if you intend to place it on a desk or similar surface, some personal adjustments might be needed. - I would like to mount it under or beside the desk, but there are few options for mounting holes, restricting the available fixed positions. ... show more

  • It works and it has a lot of ports! It is also as easy to use as any of them.
Size: 16 Port | Enhanced Features
We don't like wifi for security purposes, so we normally use wired LAN. Unfortunately, even some decent name brands have failed us after some time and we kept needing more ports. I finally bought this one after reading some online reviews in computer blogs. The build quality is superb, but that is what you'd expect of something that is meant for professional use. Though I have been a computer professional, I use this in my home! It works great and would be fine either for consumers or in smaller/medium size shops. ... show more

  • It's an unmanaged switch
Size: 5 Port
I could go in to a lot of detail but it's just an un-managed switch. I needed this to extend my router. Our glorious provider supplied modem/router has the worst WiFi in the world. I have changed it out 3 times with them and the signal strength and speeds jumps all over the place even in the same room as the router. SO I ran a cable to the far reaches of my house and used this as it was intend. Now we are all hard wired and life is good. ... show more

  • Works great, no issues after 6 months
Size: 5 Port
I've had it set up running my desktop and my wife's laptop in our room for about 6 months without issue. Exterior is metal and solidly built, I have mine on top of my tower underneath the desk and knock it off every once in a while by accident but it's never come unplugged or gotten any type of damage. Handles our gigabit fiber without any issue at all, our speed varies a bit with several people using the internet, but I regularly get 200+ mb/s without issue. There's been noticeable impact on ping either for those who play online games. ... show more

  • Pretty good
Size: 5 Port, 10G
8/16: First, easy to install and verified 2.5gb (from my ISP) internet and 10gb internal network at the moment. Installed an 8 port 10g in my rack and a 5 port in my tv entertainment console. So far so good. Seems to have improved some latency between my IOT devices I had with my old ubiquiti network. Note: this review is for the 5 port which is fanless. The 8 port though has an annoying whirring sound from its fan. ... show more

  • Going from 1GB-T to 10GB-T and it works as expected
Size: 5 Port, 10G
Wanted to shorten the backup of 31VM's and the Synology and Host have 10GB-T connections. The backup, on the 1GB network averaged around 89mB/sec on a good day. On this 10GB-T switch and using 10GB ports on the Host and Syn, I'm seeing peaks of 967mB/sec and averaging just over 800mB/sec, and I've not even switched to a 9000 MTU yet. Good switch so far, good price, will likely buy another one. ... show more

  • Does The Job Well
Size: 5 Port
I've had this network hub for about a year now. I bought it because a.) my broadband internet router has only two ethernet outputs, and I need three (for 3 separate devices); and b.) the hub was relatively cheap and well reviewed. Well, now I can add my own experience to those good reviews. I use the hub to split a single ethernet output to two devices, my Google TV and my PlayStation 5. It works just fine. Even better, I haven't had a single problem with it since set-up (which was also problem free). No signal degradation, and my speeds are just fine. Nice when a produce works as advertised! ... show more
